How did I know the place would be hopping when I was gone? Must be my Elffie senses. I have to catch up in here.

Quant, I didn't realize you owned the place where you lived, lucky son of a you know what! Well at least you saved a precious little life who is flying free and happy. She will tell her children and they will tell theirs of the Giant human who once saved her life. See, you'll be a legend.

Ok have to catch up now.

Wasn't there a Knight of the Round Table who had a moment with a bird?

I'll google and come up with a name...

Something about killing a bird and was devastated and the Mother kept him hidden in the woods...

Be back!

*The Knight's name was Percivale, still reading!

Foss, Thanks for lifting my spirits today! I sent you a private message about Tsu.

Syx, my damned computer froze on that game in the middle of my answering the questions, I guess I'm a mystery dragon then. I asked my dragon Storm if he would take the test and he laughed at me. He said he didn't need to take any dragon tests, he was quite confident in who he was as a fierce warrior against evil and friend to all beings of light. I think he secretly envies that you are Dragon guardian of the shed, but shhhh, you didn't hear it from me.

Hi Skiddy!!!How are you tonight? You made me laugh with the walrus comment!

Hiya Timely! Your dragon is beautiful, I mean handsome! Hey, get Gordi's butt in here for us! He owes us a story entry!

Zazz, your dragon sounds like the one I should have.

Rider, yes you are the dragon rider! OMG, beautiful poem! Gorgeous and romantic, you will find someone soon enough, if they don't find you first!

KD, what a beautiful poem! Thanks so much for sharing that with us!

One thing I love about our men in here is that they have a tender side and aren't afraid to show it. The women in here swoon over that. Most women do!

Birdie, I don't know. I'll wait and see what you find.

You guys always seem to have problems with communication devices. That sucks!

THIS is true love...Mom and Dad who still held hands even in in their elder years and told each other "I love you" every day of their lives.

Thanks Honey! They both had a great sense of humor, were very thoughtful and loving. We have a huge stack of cards my Mom had saved from him to her and some from herself to him. They would always choose the most beautiful pictures with the most sentimental, romantic verses. I have never seen a love as deep and lasting and wonderful as theirs.

It is indeed. I am forever grateful to have had them in my life for as long as I did. Dad was in his late 80's when he passed 9 years ago and Mom was 92 when she passed in October. I could never repay them for all that they have done for me.

I always remember special vacations near the ocean for a week or two at a time, swimming, eating seafood in seaside restaurants, shopping in the quaint little shops and galleries. Heaven!

I know. We were just talking minutes ago and it went out again. She'd dropped her phone in the shower yesterday (no she wasn't talking to me and showering) and it got wet. So that might be it. That, or the wind. It's windy there.

It is true love as you say. Thank you for sharing such an endearing photo of your mum and pop.....beautiful. Both of my parents died when I was a young teenager, I almost forget sometimes about that part of my life.

That must have been horrible for you. So very sad to lose them so young. May I ask what happened? Who took you in after?

Melancholy and 'borrowing' things to read.

"A free bird leaps
on the back of the wind
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wing
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky."

~Maya Angelou

I hope everyone has a peaceful night, I may return after rounds...

((hugs))

Well actually it was a very sad and shocking thing. Basically, a accidental fire at their home....they just never got out. My older brother, only sibling and I stayed together until I went to University. For some reason I don't think about it much, they had a good life, two sons and all that stuff. I'm good. Life continues and it is wonderful.

My folks were complete opposites. Mom was a farmers daughter from Ilinois, and dad was an Italian Armenian genius surfer boy geek from southern Cali. He identified as Italiano, even though his Pappa who was Armenian was born at the base of Arrarat in Turkey.
Dad was a total Introvert, city boy . surfer from LA, and mom was a total extrovert country girl, From the Land of Lincoln that could cook or bake anything, and make any pie, cake or dessert you could think of. And She was pretty too.
Anyway , they were working together at a hospital in LA, and running in the same group, They had never even dated and he comes up to her one day out of the blue, and says " I think I Love You" .

She threw her head back in Laughter and said " Ill help You get over it". ( That was a promise she never kept) And they were together from that day until she passed 3 years ago
