Well your right she just arrived and bought lobster and they are alive. I told her I will grill them. Not boil them. She said that is cruel lol. What do you think!

Thank you Martin, I have only had two jobs in my life that were more like a vocation. This one and when I sailed. It will take a true miracle if they call me, there were too many complication.
One accusation was that I had told a resident that a colleague was mean. Not true. But since I didn't want to compromise the resident I didn't argue against it.
I trust truth will prevail in the end.

You mention you are steaming, well we are close to 90% humidity here, it is horrid. And it is not raining.

a reply to: Quantum12 We used to get them on Maui with a Hawaiian sling spear. I cant remember what we did. You might want to do a quick immerse with tongs into boiling water, then onto a barbeque, basting with garlic butter, and serve with a wedge of lemon if you have it. Sprinkle with Paprika

I think I am good, I wish I could find a job that doesn't entail running around like a headless chicken.
Tired but I am functioning, thank God.

It is so hot here, well it could be worse but the humidity negates the purpose of a shower.

I take the dogs to a lake every morning, the Rottie, her name is Gigi, just walks in the water, something she has never seen before I got her. She loves it. She is adorable. To think this poor creature in seven years was confined to a small yard and a car ride. My Beagle, Sam, at times swims out to her as if to investigate her odd behavior.

Boiling a lobster alive or throwing it on a grill alive is so horrible! I could never do that!

That made me giggle, Gigi with her one-hundred pounds doesn't really "frolic" and when she tries to with Sam he quickly moves because she steps on him and her play bark is very loud. It is so cute how she gets upset when he whimpers, she licks him very gently.
Now she can also be around my four cats with out the muzzle, and she is off her anti-anxiety meds.
And the Master of the house, Fred, the fifteen year old cat is her favorite, they greet each other in the morning with licks and nose pushing and lie down together on a blanket.
Mind you she has never been around cats before.

You poor thing. Stay where it is cool. I read the air quality thingy every day when it is like this.

Mike it is good to see that Dada is fighting the good fight, and saying to hell with what the docs want everyone to believe. You too!!

We have some powers in Our own minds that can supercede anything, mostly, that doctors want us to believe. (I think it is a cop-out for docs to say someone only has so long to live. It is the easy way out, and a total cop-out, in My book.) Everyone is different and all have their own ways of dealing with things, (injuries/healings/) and a lot can turn the tide on what a doctor has told them. I believe Dada is one of Those Who can win her battle!!

Hi WIS! No shame in not hailing Me lately. I know You Love Us! CC is fine. Her sister seems to be getting better, however there were some times, yesterday especially, that she would just, well like zone out during an answer to a question.
Today She seemed to be more coherent during conversations... Her doc thinks there may be areas of Her brain that may be permanently dead though. Time will tell on all that. So We just have to hope for the best...

Oh, and Yes we have free range Dragons. They seem to keep popping up, here and there! I have no idea where they are coming from yet. (Perhaps they have been coming here through one of the many portals in Accasia?)
As a matter of fact, Here's one that some islanders don't want around I guess? They seem to have really pissed Him off!?
