Hugo spread his rainbow wings wide and growled at the dark elf baring razor sharp teeth. He crouched down ready to pounce, smooth black
fur blending in with the night. "Release her from your spell or deal with the rest of us you cold hearted creature of darkness!" Night stood before
the feline, blocking him from Dontel. Calmly she spoke. "I am under no spell. I know this man. We have learned side by side the skills of battle and
the magic arts of darkness and light. He chose the wrong path and I am determined to find out why and perhaps change his ways." She paused a moment,
gazing into Dontel's emerald eyes. "I loved him once."
The white wolf padded his way closer to Night Star. "It was the dark elves that took some of the lives that lay scattered upon the blood soaked earth
in the last battle. It was the dark elves you clashed swords with Night, crimson blood dripped from their gleaming might. There is no wisdom in this
choice you are making." Dontel laughed. "Here amongs this motley crue of beings you have in your midst a goblin and yet you have no problem with that
do you?" His eyes narrowed as he stared from one to another of her friends. We will settle this at the castle."
As the dark elf turned, Wolf pounced quickly, pinning him to the ground as Hugo crouched low to the ground watching and waiting. Jojopo and Garren
slowly drew their swords from their scabbards. "Night Star is coming with us even if we have to drag her along!" said Wolf. A number of dark elves
stepped out from behind the tall trees that surrounded them, their bows and arrows aimed at the companions.
