When is Hillary going to hold that first open press conference?

She has to get past two things:

Trump

The press.... the press has been asking forever for an open press conference... you know.,, those ones where they are free to ask what they want and not just the pre-approved questions?

Her first open press conference will be the end. The DNC knows very well that will be totally devastating when she is up there stammering and stuttering through the tough hardball questions about her server.

You actually are dealing with my argument for a change ... and I'd like to thank you for that. It's refreshing.

It's not so much a passive "please don't take my MTV or radial tires" kind of milk-sopping for "the status quo" as much as it is an understanding that politicians, all politicians, are essentially megalomaniacs-brought-to-heel. They spout their endless partisan emotional tripe for the "civilians" and spend their time off camera with the ol' wink-wink-nudge-nudge.

To elaborate on my anti-Trump position, indeed ... what does he have to gain? Some have argued he's in it for a boost to his name recognition, some for (what to me seems utterly naive) altruistic urges, but what's the bottom line: he want's to be the most "powerful man in the world." It's one of a few accomplishments still left to someone at his level.

It's not so much that I want the "status quo" (quite the opposite in fact), it's that I am all too well aware of the dangers that our government presents to us ... and I, for one, am not willing to roll the dice to give even more power to someone like Donald J. Trump.

Call me crazy.

Calm down, most of us have stated who we are and are not planning to vote on. Quite a few of us have found ourselves voting against the worst options.

Let's look at your "logic" here for just a moment ... first of all, Trump is trailing in the polls, he's been trailing in the polls, he hasn't done a single thing to bring anyone else into his voting base that wasn't already there, and he's totally alienated almost everyone else. Second, review the realities of the Electoral College. Third, why in Hades would you think I have any need to be "conciliatory"? Am I running for office here? Is there anything I've ever said or done that makes you think I'm in a popularity contest.

My conscious will not allow me to vote for someone I know has broken numerous federal laws. Period.

Hillary Clinton has forced me to vote republican... no one else is responsible.

I believe your animosity toward Clinton is misplaced, but that's my opinion.

I do believe this is what will be Hillary's undoing is there are millions of Americans who CANNOT vote for her and with either stay home or vote Trump. Both of which benefit Trump.

This afternoon I was out in front of my house, when an older woman walked by.
She asked me if I put the "Trump" sign in my yard, and I said yes.
She walked over and high-fived me

She said very vehemently "we have to keep that b***h out of there".

This is relevant to this thread, because then she asked me if I saw the mother Pat Smith.
She said she was already not going to vote for Hillary, but after hearing that mother... then she went into a rant with quite a few words that I can not post here

Then she went on to say some nice things about Trump.

So... we see that this convention was something that people will remember
