Floor fight - initially 9 states asked for a vote on rules... only 7 are needed to force a floor vote. The chairperson walked off and was gone for 10 minutes, then came back saying 3 of the 9 states have withdrawn their challenge and thus only 6 states remained to challenge - not enough. I think some people just got bribed.

The whole of Washington is corrupt... it appears that Trump has done something within the GOP to beat this down. I am suspicious that 3 states revoked their challenge... it seems to have settled down now... you can only imagine the sidebar conversations.

Possibly but remember its 41-9 in terms of states for accepting the rules vs challenging them.. and 3 of the 9 pulled out of the challenge.

Hmmm....Interesting...In that maybe Cruz accepted the speaking invitation so to be a present option during the mutiny?

Well, the Fox talking heads are saying it is more about Ted and 2020 than 2016.

I think it's stupid for them to do this but that's why I'm just a cook.
