I find it ironic people crying politics in a thread about POLITICS.

I have no delusions that Obama doesn't politicize any and every tragedy he gets a chance to politicize, that's ANY president regardless of political affiliation, I just find it ironic that a group that politicizes it just as much is bashing him for doing exactly what they're doing themselves.

Seems a bit hypocritical if you ask me. Obama sucks, worst president ever, etc. I agree with those sentiments, but let's at least be fair and honest.

The difference is we have self-awareness as a group politicizing events…
There is no belief that our rhetoric is soaring above the fray and is "post-partisan" to use his ridiculous label…
I harbor no arrogance that my words can heal and change the world…
I harbor no hubris regarding my legacy, my skin color or my legacy as related to the color of my skin…
I am honest about my motives and want the same from my president…
We ATSers politicize events but don't say we are not politicizing events...it would be disingenuous at best and conniving and manipulative in reality...
His very words of "let's not politicize this tragedy" fresh on the heels of a 7 year campaign of politicizing tragedy is frustrating in its dishonesty...
I want and expect a president to be transparent in his motives and not apply Saul Alinsky's rules for radicals to the highest office in the world....

Heck, even Bill Clinton eventually told the truth....kind of....sort of....well, not really...
Obamas narcissism seems to know no bounds and if Hillary wins the presidency, his influence will persist in perpetuity as a Supreme Court judge and undoubtedly future Chief Justice!!!

Our children and our children's children will have to read his court decisions as he continues his mission of forever altering our country into a shadow of its former glory...

That's not even the issue, the issue is people complaining about Obama politicizing things when they themselves are doing the exact same thing. It's hypocritical.

I missed the speech. Did he call for union or did he use it to call for gun control. None of the comments I have read so far are unbiased.

I'm going to place a bet he uses this as another platform to insult the police, blame the police for getting shot and call for civilian disarmament.
