One of the local stations has cell phone video of an officer shooting but that's all I've seen so far. Somebody else may have seen more.

Compare that style of 'coverage' to what happened in Dallas. Imo, Its best to put it out there, be transparent. Claiming it will taint the investigation smacks of cover up.

Because of all the police that are getting away with cold blooded murder and a bias system that keeps letting these police do these awful crimes and get away with it more police will probaly get killed because people can't trust them, they are afraid.

I personally blame people like you who pretend or lie about who the cops actually have to deal with. You pretend that these black people who get shot are always nice, friendly and follow the officer's instructions when in reality, they resist arrest, try to race or run away or fight the officer. Those people...the ones who don't respect the law...they deserve to be shot. And your BS making it sound like the police have a problem when the truth is that black America is the problem does nothing but feed the lie and cause innocent, law enforcement personnel to be injured or killed.

Another BRPD officer killed has been identified as Matthew Gerald, 41, of Denham Springs.

I have been checking the FB page of the gunman since his name flashed across the screen. For about 15 minutes, the page looked like it had been purged from everything with the exception of one post. Just went back to check it again, and it is looking like a regular FB page with plenty of history, but get this.

"didn't really die, the baton rouge cops are just incompetent evil scum that want everyone to think i'm dead. i'm on the run!!! the profession attracts egotistical power hungry trigger happy maniancs. BLM must stand and unite against this evil force!!!!"

Yes, but then you have all kinds of people asking all kinds of questions because erroneous information was given out and run with. Put out any and all available info and take your lumps with the bad info, or keep things controlled and it's not enough.
