White Elevators.....What??? Seriously???

Different colors go different places not much deeper than that. Color blingd people have to have extreme colors to know what is going on.

The end of that video where they talk about the historical time when whites and blacks were segregated was just too stupid to indulge. As if this had anything whatsoever to do with segregating whites and blacks.

This is the most obvious reason to me too. I worked at Duke Medical Center for 15 years. The original hospital was built many years ago and did not take into account being easily added on to. Subsequent additions were very difficult to navigate because levels would change from one section to the next because of the lay of the land. Level 1 in red zone would be Level 2 in yellow zone. They started color coding to help people navigate. This sounds like a simple navigation tool.

Outside LAX main terminal there is a looped announcement about a white line.
"The white line is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. No parking. "
No one thinks this means only white people.

This is too stupid.

Honestly, it looks like it was put in place specifically for the RNC event. If you zoom into the pic further in the hallway, the next sign says yellow elevator! So it was simply a color coding for this event.
