Seems like a strange pic for Trump

I wonder if this is part of the ability to compromise that Trump has been saying is so important to a good businessman or leader. Maybe the RNC will start to back off or at least get out of his way with this VP choice.

As others in other threads have pointed out, this is him pandering to the establishment voters. He knows he has to in order to have a chance.

I'd say that's a pretty good description. That's about what I got out of it as well.

My only guess is that Trump is hoping to bring in some of that Koch money and Connections that Pence is getting. Also, to strengthen the ties to the Republican Base and Evangelical Support too which Pence seems to represent.

But that's just a guess on my part as I can't see what other advantage there is by choosing him. I'm not sure if even those advantages would outweigh the negatives that would also come with him.

So you're guess is as good as mine.

A religious nutcase for VP and a clueless idiot for President. Man the GOP is really reaching for this election. I wonder if Donnie picked him to back up his statement that if he is elected Christians will have more power.

Trump 'picks all the best people' after a five minute interview and a consultation with his 'gut'.

One awaits his upcoming Howard Hughes-ian propensity to bottle and save his intestinal outpourings.
