Gosh, I remember way back in the '90's, when my kids were little and were into Pokemons. At that time, I had used them as an example in some
spiritual-self development type lessons with my kids.
I think I became convinced that this phenomenon was actually a beneficial mode of learning and development for kids.
I don't remember all the details of how I was using this with my kids, but it had something to do with discerning what your particular forces and
strengths are, and working towards mastering them so that they are not "running wild", unbridled and causing problems for you.
Like within your "faults" or repeated failings you can find a potential power that just needs to be trained and mastered consciously by you, and it
can be a huge force for you then.
The Pokemons were representative of these characteristics. Playing the game with others in this form was just a sort of play which mirrored the very
important internal process we must do.
I made the card games have a deeper meaning for my kids. I guess they liked that because they still talk fondly about it.
But I am not going to get involved in this Pokemon Go thing just so I can be spied on more.
