Journey On the Sea

Blue bellowed by through the ballroom beneath the sky,
Swallowed starlight shallow in the evening,
As soft touch bled to the heart,
A hearth lit on fire.

Limbs 'bout the form,
Memory key,
And love forever more.

Farewell to my warm desire,
Farewell to the warmth of the home,
Welcome the cold of the night,
The shady city lights.

The heart declared course,
To the heart of the Blue,
To the core of the Sea,
The end of the World should no port be open to me.

Sails and wind,
Bow of the Ship,
Ripping through the Sea.

To declare,
What the heart had swore,
Eternity,
Nothing more.

Hope in'm not overstepping, here...this reminds me of my best friend from school...melancholy stuff, if I could I would show her this, nice work! My friend is the most beautiful, person ever!

No overstepping done. I'm not sure I meant for it to be melancholy. Rather not, but instead the general topic is a girl and soon to declare the love for her. Please do share your work, I'd love to read it as I'm sure others would. Glad you liked it.

Will look for it perhaps, through a giant messy frame of thinking.
I say melancholy, because that is how I felt reading it.

a reply to: ksiezyc all I know to write about is fae and cats... maybe Sci-Fi ...and ghosts or spirits... oh and dragons.
I think in'm done with writing though.
I watch TV and then work and then prepare food, clean houses ect...i could right about street fights, that's always a good topic, for me. My friend likes to brawl a bunch... just yelling and stuff, he needs to fight ...loss of girlfriend issues...I never know just what the future holds!
Maybe I find some inspirations from street life.

Life will always get better. It sucks to lose someone you love, or to love someone that doesn't hold the same feelings to you. Maybe not what you mean, but hell that has been tormenting me, but life gets better. The strong persist. Hug from me to you and your friend. If you enjoy writing, don't give up ever.

Grab a pen and paper and write whenever you want to on whatever topic you wish. Do you plan on writing a novel? I'm not sure what the process is, but editing is vital.
