Well now people. The wolf in sheeps clothing has finally been revealed to a greater level than ever before. According to this report. That talks about federal police training,by blackmail, threats, and coercion. he went on to insulate BLM from Dallas. Something he would never do for other groups say like the Tea Party.

Sure looks like a blue print to totalitarianism to me.

The report urges the federal government to federalize police training and practices, via the use of federal lawsuits, grants and threats to cut federal aid. So far, Obama’s deputies have cajoled and sued more than 30 police jurisdictions to adopt federal rules in a slow-motion creation of a national police system, similar to the slow-motion creation of a federal-run health-sector via Obamacare.

This is just frightening people.

Federalize the police. 'Baby steps' of course.

Disarm the law abiding citizen. Because it's being pushed in the same line as this crap.

Enter the blue print for a Police state.

a political unit characterized by repressive governmental control of political, economic, and social life usually by an arbitrary exercise of power by police and especially secret police in place of regular operation of administrative and judicial organs of the government according to publicly known legal procedures

Police State.

For those that don't like police comparison maybe this is more to your liking.

I'll bet money it also will be tied in with some United Nations mandates!

Just wait until hired Mercs from Academia/Blackwater are doing the policing.

Groups like BLM think the cops are bad now? lol

Problem is there does seem to be a huge problem in police training in some areas of the USA.

However way you swing it there is a massive problem with your cops.

Something does need to be done about the poor quality of training your cops receive in some areas.

It's nothing more opinions based off perception.

Everything in the political worlds is perception.

What they are talking about is local law enforcement. That are paid for by property taxes.

Means it's LOCAL business not national.

What Obama is basically talking about and said so in that report is 'incentives', and other means to go by what they say, and for basically every state in the union to give up their 10th amendment rights.

Hell illegal immigrants basically have a get out of jail free card right now, and the current administration has been flagrantly picking when the LAWS matter, and to which people.

Hardly BLIND justice.

We can expect more of the same from that 'training' which a more apropos word would be indoctrination.

No, there's a massive problem with no personal responsibility and a pandering, agenda driven media that allows thugs to have every excuse under the sun to deflect logical consequences of their own thuggish, antisocial, and illegal behavior. Of course the problem couldn't possibly be with the thugs behavior. .. it must be violent police.

I am glad you brought up Somalia.

That brought us black hawk down because of a guy that created the background check that said for the first time in US history we had to ask the states permission before we could practice our RIGHT.

Followed by the 'Assault weapons' BAN.

The reason we were there in the first place ?

Dishing out some social justice for the locals, and feeding them.

WHAT did we get in return?

A terrorist attack sponsored by Al Qaeda.

Seems like some don't want to learn from history, and are hell bent on repeating it.

Most police officers are good people trying to do good and protect the public. They have an extremely difficult job and put their lives on the line daily.

And there also are definitely some bad cops. It is a profession that can attract people who enjoy the power, and sometimes years of having that kind of power can affect people. There is also an environment within police departments where they tend to cover for each other.

Its a difficult situation.

But I think that Obama's accusations that somehow racism is rampant in all law enforcement is divisive and unfair to the majority of good LEO. Obama encourages others to this line of thinking and gives them justification to hate police. That is not fixing anything.

It's also based on misinformation. I have seen it said here and elsewhere that more blacks are shot by police than whites, and this is not true.

Police shootings nationwide 2015:

White: 494
Black: 258
Hispanic: 172
Other: 38
Unknown: 28

source

Maybe the issue with incompetent police has more to do with this:
US Court Says it’s Okay for Police Departments to Refuse to Hire Someone who is Too Smart

Ever wonder why cops yell “quit resisting” as they beat a person who’s not resisting? Or why they shoot people who pose no threat? Maybe the answer is right in front of us.

Anyhoozles...

Your perspective is valid and this isn't my bag so have fun.

Being a person who would be thrilled with a 100% automated robot police force, I probably shouldn't even be in this thread.

We are headed there.

Events like Dallas,Chicago, Protests across the country.

People can't be trusted.

The police can't be trusted.

Is only paving the road to that eventuality.

The more I look into this, THIS does indeed look like the reason for unnecessary police shootings:

If you watch the video above, then compare it to the videos of the officer in the police shootings this week, it looks much more likely that they just were not very smart than that they were racist.
