Aside from diet, you should try rebounding. Specifically, a health bounce. Just a gentle up and down, without your feet leaving the mini tramp, for about 1o minutes a day to get your lymph system flowing.

I love leeks too. I grow them but goodness they take a long time to mature.

Anyway, my recipe for this winter is that I indulge myself with the following,

Tools - Large Pot, wooden spoon, ladle, sharp knife, cutting board and tasting spoon.

Method -

2 clean rinsed fillets of fish, generally kingfish or bream diced to about inch squares - Microwave for a short time in a basin with some water until nearly tender and retain stock.

2 leeks sliced to about 1 half inch pieces.

I small onion diced to small pieces.

Half a celery bunch thinly sliced including leaves.

Diced chilli pepper.

Pinch of black/white pepper, small amount of turmeric to taste. Couple of pinches of crushed sea salt for taste as it boils.

Place vegetables in a pot and cover with water, bring to boil, simmer and add water slowly as the level decreases. Add the pepper, turmeric and sea salt but only to your specific taste. (Personally can't take veges overcooked in salt).

As the vegetables become tender add the fish and stock. Simmer and top water gently as needed. Serve when satisfied with taste. Goes great with warm cut buttered French loaf for dipping.

Takes about an hour. 2 days of soup for the family. (Better on the 2nd day) Been loving it this winter here.

Kind regards,

Bally

Shoot she can have one of mine too.

I don't know if this would sketch you out OP but you could probably get one at Value Village for like $5. Just bleach it or something. They're pretty cheap new if you don't get all fancy.

Cucumbers are a decent food when eaten in moderation. They have some negative effects when too much are eaten though. I don't know if fluid filled cysts would come from cucumbers though. Celery is worse for juicing than cucumbers. but still too many cucumbers is bad for people. The bitter in the ends is almost as bad on the body as chemotherapy if you consume too much of it..

a reply to: rickymouse thank you, the fluid filled cyst happens simultaneously with me over consuming them in blender and also age related...perimenopause...what not... nurse said doc said typical. I stopped consuming cucumbers and the cysts went away... just my situation though.
No hard masses, luckily.
