How about a gloat/celebration forum?

I was criticized for supposedly doing a bit of gloating in the thread below. I don't agree that it was gloating. It made me realize that if someone wanted to gloat, it really doesn't fit anywhere on this forum.

If there's a rant forum, why not have a gloat/celebration forum? I think it would be a lot of fun. People deserve the right to brag or celebrate occasionally.

Also, since ranting is generally considered negative, a gloat forum would balance things out energetically.

Great idea, we could call it the 'Act Like a Douche' forum.

I don't care about my reputation here as this is an anonymous account. It makes absolutely no difference to me what the majority thinks of this persona. Why would anyone would care about that is beyond me.

You seem to me to be very serious all the time but some people come here mainly to have fun. And, many people find gloating to be fun. Why do you have to be judgmental about how people enjoy themselves if they're not hurting anyone else?

Personally, I wouldn't start threads in a gloat forum. But, I would like to read it. It's inspirational to me.

I wouldn't make threads in a gloat forum because I don't brag or gloat.

How about if it was called "Celebration Forum." Perhaps the problem here is with the word "gloat"?

It would just be another forum for fun to me. Is the problem that some people look at gloating as a sin or something like that?

After careful deliberation I vote NO for a 'Gloat-Like-A-Douche' Forum.
If someone is so insecure that they need to celebrate when they actually get something right...they can do the 'Happy Dance' with their pet ferrets...like the rest of us here.

I would LOVE to have a forum...where Xenophobes from around the world can gather together and find commonality and camaraderie through their mutual dislike of people from other countries.
