Ignorant comment to say the least. If you think this is justified then you're part of the problem.

It's gearing up to be a looong night.

I really hope all of the protests remain non-violent so as not to detract from the very important issue of social injustice and systemic discrimination.

There was just an amazing moment at the D.C. protest, the entire crowd walked from the White House to the Capitol and sang We Shall Overcome.

Protests are an important part of American culture. People should protest.

I'm not sure what they are protesting for, though.

The police who did the shootings will be investigated. If they are guilty, they will be punished.

So what are they protesting exactly?

60 people were shot in Chicago over the past weekend. Where was the protest then?

While I agree to an extent, the vast majority of Americans do not live in nor will ever go to Chicago. But they do have to drive to work everyday. Or go to a convenience store. They just want to live their lives without fear of the Police State. They simply want the pernicious systemic issues formally addressed and corrected.

Is it a post-civil rights phenomenon? Is it a post 9/11 phenomenon? Is it a combination of things? As a culture, we can't even bother to try to pin point it because half of us are pretending it doesn't exist.

How many people were pulled over today in the US?

100?
1000?
10000?

I'm not discounting the anger and frustration, but I find it "selective".

They're protesting in Seattle and Portland, my neck of the woods.

It's as far away from the shootings, as the shootings were from Chicago.

OK

SERIOUS QUESTIONS FOR YOU AMERICANS...Why haven't you organized protests through out the whole America yet?? Just saying...if there were protests in every single city of your country, you'd get way more attention AND results. Work as one and you will become winners.
