Sir Mike here...
I've peered into ATS over the past several years or so, but now, like so many others, I've decided to join the fray. Currently I'm in my low 40's, however I've had an extensive life. I've held TS/SCI clearance, worked in the intelligence community, and I have a strong computer background. Now I'm a family man, work in indie film, I struggle with chronic Lyme disease, been studying theology and ancient history for over 10 years, I'm an Antioch orthodox priest and I'm a Citadel Knight of Antioch. I'll leave it at that for now. Hopefully I'll be able to add some insight from time to time for the ATS community.

Lol, oh my gosh no! I've had to drive a few times through Boulder CO and every other car had a Berney sticker on it...I showered after the drive to get the stench of socialism out of my hair.

Nah, it was the Roman Catholics that implement that. Scripture clearly states that a priest may have one wife (1Tim 3:2).

I have an aunt that suffer's from Lyme Disease. Here in Australia our medical and government will NOT admit that it exists here. She got it from a tic bite.

So far has spent over $160,000 on treatment from the U.S and travelled to Germany recently for treatment. She has blood tests from the U.S confirming her condition.

I feel for you.

Thank you m'dear. It is, however I have come to be blessed many times over. It's not this life I live for, but the next.

Because of the Lyme. As it turns out they tend to frown on the guy that has to sleep 10-12 hours at night plus day time naps, forgets conversations, gets lost, periodically dyslexic, and don't forget all the medications! Intel guys can't have those kinsds of issues.

It's late and I'm on my tablet so I'll save you my rant against the mainstream medical community and big pharma. Here in the States the CDC (Center for Disease Control) says that Lyme disease can be cured in 2-3 weeks and chronic Lyme doesn't exist at all! The Lyme literate doctors here get persecuted quite a bit from the mainstream. I wouldn't be here if it had not been for prayer and finding the right help. There's a great film called "Under Our Skin" for anyone wanting to know more about the disease.
