I worship God everyday, you are saying I am going to hell because I worship on a Sunday as well?

Well, no. The reason you will is because A) you think it's real, and B) you treat everyone else like crap while you're busy "worshipping". That's why.

You're doing it all wrong. Every day.

Come on gnosis faith, play the ball and not the man

You are talking fundamentalism not me. I worship God everyday, you are saying I am going to hell because I worship on a Sunday as well?
Fundamentalism is placing laws on people not questioning laws others demand you obey or will go to hell for
Jesus was killed by the fundys who demanded religious observance like what you are calling the "Mark"

God help anyone who thinks what you say is true, Jesus died so we could be free of your type of fear based religion.
Idol worshiping a day of the week, stop and think about what you are saying

Fundamentalist am I gnosisfaith, bounce of me and....

I guess Protestants will go to hell for celebrating Christmas, a pagan festival, Easter with chocolate eggs, what else you going to threaten Protestants with

Jesus said do all things in love, that includes worshipping on Sunday if we so choose

You should do all things with love. But it is NOT loving to break God's commandments. Can you kill someone "in love"? Can you steal from the store "in love"? How can you disobey God, "in love"? You can't. It's not love if it contradicts the 10 Commandments of God. God is love. His law is love. It's two principles, Supreme love for God, and unselfish love for our fellow man. Love is not disobedience.

Jesus served God every single day, as we should too. As a matter of fact, we should have morning worship, and evening worship, every single day. But there can only be one Sabbath Day, and it is God's Seventh Day Sabbath. To pick another day, is to break God's law. Will He care? If He commands everyone to meet with Him on the 7th Day, will you be the only person in eternity to go, "No, I'll see you tomorrow, I'm going to tend to my garden." You're going to tell the Creator, No, I will do it when I want to, and not when you tell me to? That's the kind of disrespect that got Satan kicked out of heaven. God said keep His law, and Satan said, we can do better than you law.

And yes, it is wrong to celebrate Christmas, Easter, etc. because they are indeed Pagan festivals.

The Ten Commandments are Jewish, I am not a Jew Old Testament different to the new

Fundamentalists, I really don't agree with your kind, please do as you want, don't tell me

Oh dear me, gnosisfaith and buzzy
My two bestest of friends
One who doesn't know and the other who thinks they know everything

Buzz, I don't treat you like crap, you think I do
Try not to, try to think better of yourself, I don't think of you the way you think of you

Let me be clearer buzz
I don't think as badly of you as you think
I assume you think I have no respect for you or your opinion, I do respect it
I agree with your opinion, I get it, I understand it.
I hate Christians as well, probably more than you do
I have to put up with the red nose wearing fundys who think that if I go to church on a Sunday I worship the devil

I understand your position better tha you think

Do dry up. It's so tedious having you tell everyone how right you are and tell them what they think and want. You don't know how we think, because you don't listen, and you especially don't hear yourself! Just the same old trollish grind, every day.

See how you are? Ewy. Not very worshipful and definitely not nice.

*ahem* May I weigh in, please....

I am a loner.... but folk seem to think I am worthy to be called to Christ.
The problem I have with that is.... I don't believe in Christ the savior.... I only believe in Christ the man of a long time ago.

I thought we as Christians were to worship God in all things we do, every day of the week

Just on a Saturday, seriously, you make all this religion sound so religious, no bacon and eggs, no shellfish, might as well cut off your foreskins, why not go all the way and cut of your whole package

Confusing Judaism and christianity I am afraid, poor thing

Sabbatarians totally forget what Jesus said to the woman at the well. Still thinking they must go to a certain building on 1 day of the week for worship, totally ignoring that worshipping God in spirit and truth is a 7 days of the week thing and isn't in a building.

But hey, why let Jesus get in the way of the tradition of the elders of their denomination, they knew better? (Forget Mark 7 also, probably a false translation)

Then to top it all off, these guys don't even follow the guidelines and commands God gave for observing the Sabbath! Lol

"Ye shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you." - Deuteronomy 2:4

Do Sabbatarians keep the Sabbath as it is explicitly commanded by God in the scriptures? They don't, therefore based on Deuteronomy 2:4 they have made the Word of God to be none effect by their tradition of their elders.

GASP! I just looked it up!

Yeah, Father Enright that was 130 years ago. Please don't be sucked in to that SDA or SDR or whatever . Oh dear.....
well - anyway - so, yeah. There you go - please explain how you learned about this stuff, who taught you, and why are you listening to them.
That's what I'd like you to continue explaining.

Because I don't want to have to say to or about you what Idella said to Miss Daisy

Sometimes I think you ain't got the sense God gave a lemon!

Don't be "ain't got the good sense God gave a lemon."

I am afraid that the average christian is so confused by the old testaments teachings and the new testaments teachings
Israel was under a theocracy, we are not, thank God
Theocracies dont work

Jesus came to set mankind free from religion, fundamentalists want to impose it on us.
God looks at the heart, our motivation, God wants a commitment from humanity based on love not ritual. Why Jesus came

Now I am not telling you how to shell peas here NOTurTypical, you already know, I am replying so gnosisfaith and other confused people might learn something

Ritual accounts for nothing anymore, love has bridged that gap

I'm not advocating a religion. Christianity is a relationship with Christ. With that said, there are a lot of cults and false teachers that will try to make it about Legalism and rituals. But they're blind guides. Jesus gave 2 commands, no longer the 613 + 10 commands of the OT.

SDA is a cult, the writings of Ellen G White are elevated to the level of scripture and she has been proven to be a false prophetess and a plagiarist.

I totally agree with your post, 2 commandments
Amen

Because Caesar Nero was the Beast 666, and the events in the book of Revelation already happened.

Nero died before John wrote the book of Revelation, he wrote it near the end of Deocletian's reign and was let off the island of Patmos when Deocletian died. Nero was the Emperor who had Paul beheaded.

Op. Christians arent required to keep the sabbath. The catholic church though refuses to seperate the two books of the bible as well. SO many people who claim to be christian following doctrine made for the hebrews.

Welcome to ATS.

Generally, new members are welcomed a little more warmly.

I'm afraid that Seventh-day Sabbath is going to be a hard thing to convince anyone of.

It isn't the 1950s anymore. The trick back then was to say, "Just ask a Catholic Priest which day is the Seventh day." Way easy, because so many people were either Roman Catholic or one of the confessional Protestant Churches with a catechism which included the Ten Commandments.

ATS is a whole different ball game. The demographics are way different. Imagine a zoo where half of the name plaques are switched and the other half are missing.

Anyway, welcome.
