The government creates groups like the TSA to grow government itself. Every TSA worker will support the administration that supports and pays them. And like any out of control beast, government will continue to suck from the people to grow larger and stronger. And just like a beast it will NEVER cut off a limb. You will never see the end of any government group or department. These people are a guaranteed vote and promised support all for some money. They have sold their soul.

But take it a little further in the mind of the beast. If it can grow government to the point that EVERYONE is a government employee...we are then finally exactly where they want us. Silent, scared and controlled sheep that wouldn't dare lift a finger to disturb where our next meal is coming from.

Yeah, I know - - sucks.

I'm the only one looking at prevention through personal responsibility.

I'm the only one who does not want this to happen to another kid, by taking personal responsibility before traveling.

So much better to rant, rave, and blame the perpetrators. It solves so much.

And yet here you are...casting blame upon a damaged child obviously incapable of defending herself and her poor parents, worn down watching their daughter slowly dying. But there you are, calling them out for not being as strong as you have had to be in your life. Well guess what honey...some people aren't capable or aren't capable at the moment to be that strong. And if you wish to continue to use your personal history to judge how others "should" behave...you are not only suffering from a God complex but you have no compassion for those in need.

No. She's just looking for attention. Honestly, this is her MO. Make derisive, condescending comments and pretend to be playing "devil's advocate", and push people's buttons for fun. In some circles, this would be called a "Troll" but they get irritated about that word here.

Nope! I stated more then once I do not condone the behavior - - whether it was TSA or the Airport Police. Which I still haven't gotten an answer on.

I'm confident in my perspective of personal responsibility. Do not depend on others - - when there is special needs.

No matter how many times they made this trip without incident, this time was different. IF the mom had called and found out proper procedures - - - this child would not be suffering today.

That perspective does not excuse what happened. But, that perspective would have prevented it.

Never ASSUME.

This is what happens when you turn a bunch of minimum-wage Security-Clerks into "Agents of Homeland Security".

First of all annee, my sincere apologizes about your mother and what you experienced and that is from my heart.

The reason why i accused you of backing these thugs up was because you cannot see what this is doing to your great country, this should not happen to anybody never mind a blind, deaf child that has mental issues and a brain tumor, the TSA should be trained at the very least to recognize people who have problems instead of fighting them, just like most jobs that deal with the public. The fact that the mother was trying to tell the thugs that she had problems meant absolutely nothing to them..... NOTHING, they had decided to assault this child from the beginning and that does not scare you?

If you where standing in line and this happened to another person who took a panic attack because they never had this happen to them before (and lets be honest here, these security levels are bloody scary these days even when you know you are innocent), would you say that was their fault, what if it was one of your family it happened too? Would you agree with the treatment?

And that is why i asked if you worked for the government, you cannot see the damage that this is causing, weather it happened to a "disabled" person or a healthy person and that is scary.

I have also been judged all my life for various reasons so i know first hand how destructive that is to a person and that is why i got angry about "having to inform people ahead of time that a "disabled" person is coming through", we should all be treated with respect no matter what you are, disabled, LGBT, race or creed. Just like you would have loved for your mother, just as i would love today. That is also the reason why i dread going through our european airports, the panic is dreadful simply because i dread being pulled for a body check.

If this treatment is not dealt with by a court of law this kind of treatment will only get worse, they will have a man slaughter case someday the way this is going on.

Even if the mother had informed the airport that her daughter was disabled, would the TSA have dealt with her any differently, i think the outcome would have been the exact same, i have read enough horror stories about how the TSA have dealt with disabled people before who are even in wheelchairs!

Yes i make my own decisions but i am telling you how we should all be treated, with respect for each other, not violently man handled every time we travel.
