There are some who take anything Muslim to be news worthy.
Even here.
Lets see, can we think of a new muslim bashing arena that hasn't been posted yet...
Let me explain it to you as to why people feel the need to do that at the present time.
Whenever there is a society that works most of the time, there will be things that disturb the, lets call it, 'good times'.
The more peaceful and well running a society is, the smaller the 'disturbance' they concentrate on at any given time.
I remember times where wife beaters were high on the agenda, other times [back in the late 70's] it was heroin, other times it was youth gangs and
graffiti, I hope you get what I am saying.
What happens next is, people gather evidence. Every time graffiti appears, it will make it into the news. Despite [!] there being other maybe worse
problems.
It serves a purpose, in a world that can never be 100 % perfect, it is only possible to concentrate on one thing at a time for the masses. Of course
in the background there will be organisations or doctors or teachers dealing with other stuff.
If the masses concentrate on one thing, it can be dealt with.
Often if it isn't an actual problem [as in these things will always exist] it will either go away OR if it is an actual threat to peace or preferred
lifestyle by the masses, it can be addressed. This can only happen if the 'evidence' suggests that there is a problem. Therefore [as mentioned above],
every time something happens that shouldn't happen it will be made public.
The 'thing' at the moment is muslims, no not actual muslims but the intolerance of islam and the absolute bending over backwards to accommodate islam
when the masses really, really do not agree with its sentiments.
Therefore you will find every little bit of information about [yet another] case in which muslim rights are put before anyone else's rights published.
Of course you could say islam isn't a problem at all, that no muslim ever had extreme views, you could say it is a blessing that the larges
immigration ever in history [and nobody agreed to] is by people with a mindset that is directly opposed to ours [in many cases - not always/end
necessary disclaimer]. You could say it is beautiful that a lot of muslim culture which includes discrimination against women and gay people is
coming to town and needs to be accepted before anyone else's culture. You could say it is lovely that we have to accept everything muslims do or else
we are called racist, whilst our culture counts for zilch.
You could say that, and many here do but that is just as wrong an opinion as to say 'all musilms are'...The truth is in between. That said, we are
being forced to accept the unacceptable in these unprecedented times.
So it would be more helpful to acknowledge people's [quite real] worries and address the 'outliers' rather than the majority.
The masses disagree with islam and we are gathering evidence as to why,
until we feel we are being heard.
Once we feel our worries have been adequately and justly addressed [for both sides] and we feel safe and equal in our own countries, we can address
the next problem and gather evidence for that. It's how free human societies work. Disallow this and you live in a tyranny.
