Fiery Death for Iranian women in Paris Raid Protest

A woman sets herself on fire outside an office of the French Interior Ministry during a protest in Paris on June 18, 2003 against a mass round-up of left-wing Iranian exiles the previous day. I have always question why commit suicide if you believe in a cause?

What good are you going to be for that cause if your dead?

Would that be considered a martyr or moron?

Do you think the women made a difference by burning themselves to death for the cause?

...And some people have admiration for them.
I know that yesterday the french DST arrested about 160 iranian rebels of the Iranians Moudjadin Group, host in a little town about 100 Km from Paris.

She had no reason to act like that because the police will only control them identities and probably check if there are no explosives or chemical agent in them residence... and release them about 2 or 3 days, in the worst case...
