Absolutely meaningless.
From the people that let the NEWS inside Marteens home the very next day.
As you know, this is an active, on-going investigation being conducted by the FBI. The FBI considers information obtained from the state and local enforcement agencies in furtherance of its investigation to be evidence or potential evidence. Accordingly, the FBI is concerned that public disclosure of such records or information at this time will adversely affect our ability to effectively investigate the shooting and bring the matter to resolution; could endanger the safety of law enforcement officers, and other individuals who have participated in or are otherwise connected with the investigation; and risks unduly prejudicing any prosecutions that may result from the investigation.

Right, that is what the masses are always told...it's an active investigation...letting you know what we know would somehow hamper justice...you don't want him to get away with it do you? Then you need to just trust us that we'll tell you what happened when we are done with our investigation and clean up any information we don't want released to the public.

Would you be willing to explain to us what it really means? It seems to me that the government has long pushed propoganda on foreign countries so they hear the side of the story WE want them to hear but it was supposedly illegal for them to push that same propoganda on it's own citizens until that restriction was lifted.
