It appears they were slow. A security council spokesman says the CSG was involved from the beginning. I see that personnel were moved to Sigonella, that you mention. This is not the first time we have had American deaths at missions and embassies. It was probably processes and funding that had remained improperly handled for a couple of decades, as these incidents happened more frequently under the Bush administration.

My point was 7 billion plus discretionary...she should have "re-appropriated" funds internally to adjust to the political climate or pull them out. She did neither.

Worse, our forces stood down....AND our people were rescued by an underground militia stemming from the leadership she championed to topple.

This was Hillary's mess from day one and rightfully still so.
