Trump is bashing the global crowd now.

And he has presented a 7 point jobs plan for America.

He is denouncing trade deals and say Hillary actually is in favor of the TPP.

He says the global elite are getting rich off political backing and rigging the system.

[imo]
Well, the question is:
Does Trump really mean what he says?

Or is he just blowing wind and has no intentions of doing what he says?

Donald Trump Slams Globalism in Trade Speech

In a major speech on trade, GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump announced a seven-point plan on bringing back jobs to America, while hammering his general election rival Hillary Clinton on promoting a globalist trade policy that has pushed manufacturing jobs overseas.

“Our politicians have aggressively pursued a policy of globalization that has moved our jobs, our wealth and our factories to Mexico and overseas,” Trump said, giving his prepared remarks called “How To Make America Wealthy Again” in Western Pennsylvania. “The people who rigged the system are supporting Hillary Clinton because they know as long as she is in charge nothing will ever change.”

Trump added, “Globalization has made the financial elite who donates to politicians very wealthy but has left millions of our workers with nothing but poverty and heartache.”

Trump doesn’t know the difference between Globalism and the Globe Trotters

And since when does the GOP give a damn about globalism. They give the corporations ALL they ask for and more

They always vote for the trade deals even more than the democrats

Does this mean his hideous ties are going to be made here in the United States? It would be nice if he lead by example in this regard and had his products manufactured domestically. I have a very hard time taking this seriously, regardless of whether I agree with his policies, if he is not walking the walk.

People ?

Globalism is socialism.

Imagine a group of people that have driven business out of one country pushing a scheme to go to other countries to recoup the money they ran out the first time.

Rinse and repeat, and what you end up with is BREXIT.

Globalism is corporatism

Globalism is Corporatism. Global corporations getting everything they want from the compliant politicians. Mainly in bad trade deals and tax shelters overseas.

If you want a stagnant cess pool of crap vote for her. If you want something different where people may actually be held accountable since the leadership of both parties want him dead then vote Trump. It's not any harder than that.

Considering Trump owes a good deal of his business to globalism and has said in the past

"we will have to leave borders behind and go for global unity."
I would say he is blowing hot air. You can not bring back manufacturing jobs back because Americans cost to much and companies would never be able to compete so they would simply close. The fact is we are still the second largest exporter in the World. A trade war would be devastating to the US. Their is a reason that the nations that most people will not trade with end up the poorest and most backward.

You have no idea what socialism means do you? Companies move because labor becomes to expensive as a nation moves from a industrial manufacturing nation into a modern economy. This is the very ideal of capitalism. In socialism those companies could never leave.

Is the Earth flat?

Of course he doesn't mean what he says. Remember when everybody was accusing John Kerry of "flip-flopping? Trump's flip-flopping is far and beyond anything Kerry said or did.

Trump defines the very idea of flip-flopping. He finds it difficult to maintain a single position for over a week or so.

What global competition. We have the best workers and regulations. People would want to buy from us. Ever buy some cheap crap and then go with the elite brand next go around. Same thing. We win because our product is the best. The best always wins out in the end. Not buying we can't compete. I refuse to accept defeatism.

Really? The U.S. is a net importer. By far. You omit that little point in your spin. Those nations would suffer far more than the U.S. in any 'trade war'. Besides, who said anything about taking on the whole world? That's your implication, not Trump's whatsoever.

Levelling the playing field would be the goal NOT a trade war with the world. China first...

Frankly, your post strikes as nothing more than fear mongering. No better than the MSM....

Actually that's a valid point. Both suck in their current versions. To hell with both the left and the right. Rein in the Corporations. We will 'need' less socialism as a result.

I surely do.

It's when PEOPLE want a bunch of free corporate products, and living wages BUSINESS up and decides to go someplace cheaper. So they can get what they WANT.

I think you're right, in fact i know you're right.
A government can only do so much for the entrepreneur, create an environment in which businesses can blossom.
In my opinion that is quite good already in the US.

Life was so much better when people sold their soul to the company store.
