Meet the DNC Platform Drafting Committee Members

A month ago, the Democrat National Committee published their Platform Drafting Committee Members list.

Among the Members are some well known names and distinguished politicians.

Seems the Committee has a presence of Socialists, maybe more than in past elections.

Perhaps the Bernie Sanders phenomenon has accelerated a Socialist platform.

Even with Sanders saying he would vote for Hillary, I wonder *IF* Hillary herself would follow the leaders if she gets elected.

And I further wonder if Democrats running for lower offices will follow this ?

What do "moderate" Democrats think about this ?

May 23, 2016 / Press Releases Democratic National Convention Committee Announces Platform Drafting Committee Members

Chairwoman Wasserman-Schultz also named Congressman Elijah Cummings (D-MD) as Chair of the drafting committee.

Also appointed to serve on the Platform Drafting Committee are:

Hon. Howard Berman, Paul Booth, Hon. Carol Browner, Rep. Keith Ellison, Rep. Luis Gutiérrez, Rep. Barbara Lee, Bill McKibben, Deborah Parker, State Rep. Alicia Reece, Bonnie Schaefer, Ambassador Wendy Sherman, Neera Tanden, Dr. Cornel West, and James Zogby.

The Clinton Campaign’s Senior Policy Advisor Maya Harris and the Sanders Campaign’s Policy Director Warren Gunnels will represent their respective campaigns as official, non-voting members of the Committee.

Andrew Grossman was named Platform Executive Director. Grossman is the former Director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. In 2012, he served as the Director of the Democratic National Convention Platform Committee.

Honestly, I think the Democratic Party is turning into the culmination of the Weather Underground movement Obama was a part of in his college years.

There is quite possibly a political coup happening in America.

I am an agreement on THIS opinion.

Several communists and radical anti-American socialists now serve on the influential Democratic Party Platform Drafting Committee.

Between pushing no fly, prosecuting 'global warming' skeptics, and gun control in general.

The DNC has become the party of Mao.

Yeah and they say Trump is extreme.

Indeed, that just made me go ....... So how can it be that you are denying it for them? Certaintly not the first for this poster but it is always good to see again how non-trustworthy certain posters are.

Oh because I'm honest and don't pretend I know everything is a reason I'm not taken seriously. Outstanding standards indeed. I'm not worried because I am taken seriously. I study all of this and I take this all seriously. I don't know who all of those people are. I can tell you this however, I will know who they are and what they think and how they work. Because I'm not a lemming. I think for myself. I use the brain in my head.
