U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said on Friday he will vote for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Asked if he would vote for Clinton in November, Sanders told MSNBC television: “Yes. The issue right here is I’m going to do everything I can to defeat Donald Trump. I think Trump in so many ways would be a disaster if he were elected president.”
Clinton clinched the party nomination earlier in June. While Sanders had said he would work with Clinton to defeat Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, he had yet to endorse Clinton and has kept his own election campaign alive.

It appears to me that Bernie Sanders has decided to go with party unification. That thing the Republican party is having some difficulty with.

Both Parties fracturing is what would be best for the US.
I thought Bernie got that.... worse yet, I thought he believed in what he has been saying all along.
Now he is saying... 'Let's unify the Party of BIG CORPORATE DONORS!'

If he fully believed that 'fracturing' was the best choice, he would have run as an Independent.
Funny, I didn't hear him say that.
It's very common in politics to have some sort of allegiance to a specific party, regardless of the person.

Why shouldn't he run as independent, though?
Hilary is just as bad as they come. I mean I guess she's owned by people, rather than being like trump, who owns others... But why is that any better? She's still under control of the very people Bernie has been fighting his whole campaign.
