no.

If you don't know the answer maybe you should not respond.

It will take upwards of 2 years for Britain to leave the EU while they negotiate an exit and its relation with the EU. Britain may rejoin the EU at any time and the process is the same as any other nation wishing to join the EU.

By that time EU countries would leave the Union, Greece, Italy wants out.

Britain may rejoin the EU at any time

Again what for? perhaps until the demographics changes right? the EU wont be stable by that time, so many countries in Western Europe have debts and unemployment rate.

And now Ukraine wants to join the bandwagon?

By all means they can go for it. Maybe Switzerland should bandwagon of being an EU member to.

Unions and super unions have never worked.

I am a lefty, but I also believe in governance by the people served by that governance, not by remote officials we cannot reign in when they go against our commands.

We are the power.

This is one of the few times i agree with you truebrit!

Good riddance EU!

Actually, I'm thinking Brexit outcome will spur things in the opposite direction of NA Union. For example, I'm guessing the Texas secessionists will be emboldened by the news. They might even take a dozen of more red states with them. That might actually be a good thing for Texas and Company. It would certainly improve the remaining states textbooks ten-fold.

Apparently not putting every other nation before your own makes you a xenophobe now.

Well, all I have to say about that, is that parties not subsribed to ideals which place the power in the hands of the electorate, are not, by definition left of centre.

Put another way, if I beat a shovel with a hammer until I have a halberd, at some point I have to stop calling it a shovel.

The left is finding out what happens when their own are in power.

Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Those monkeys in Brussels may have the best intentions, but they live completely isolated from the chaos they create and you know what happens with the best intentions and that road.

In short, the left is now "The Man" that they so famously professed to hate.

Liberty for anyone becomes anathema in the land of the "fair" because liberty allows inequality which simply isn't fair.

As much as I would love to see Middle America secede and think that if Texas went, you'd see a huge chunk of states right up the middle and across the South go with her, I'm afraid the rest of the nation would fight us for that.

But the topic did get discussed before husband left for work, and we talked about moving to Texas.

I heard at least 10 times on a few different news stations that "voters without degrees voted out while those with degrees voted remain". The reactions were priceless even people I know are buying the doom porn.
