Thank you Q. You are a little sweetie. I am better.
Well, is a huge exaggeration, I can't run climb rocks, or hike for hours yet as I used to.

But now I can walk and remain mobile through the day. So say a little prayer that I get back to "normal".

And how are you? I read some where that you lost your job?

Our boss is retiring Friday. I will be unemployed. I need a break anyway.

I have had 3 good offers this week! Not bad.

Thank You, that is so nice of you, I just truly miss the comradery in here so I hope it isn't to superficial just dropping in.
Just think of me as the little old lady sitting by the fire, snoozing and knitting. Listening to it all when she is "awake" but missing the larger picture. She still loves and cares for you all.

I can picture that but I want to be sitting at your feet in front of the fires listening to your stories of the sea.

And your adventures with the bears!

Coffee is good! Ill have to do a picture show about how I do mine sometime. I buy green unroasted beans from Sweet Marias in Oakland Ca. They go around the world to small farms and sellect the best. Green beans do not go rancid. I usually have between 20-30 Lbs of green beans from all over the world on hand for personal medicinal use
. I usually roast every 2 weeks in a vintage westbend popcorn popper. It puts out alot of smoke and has to be done outside. I grind the beans just befor brewing, and put them in a Chemex hand blown coffee beaker. I use water that has been filtered through a Big Berkey 4 filter gravity flow system, and heat it to 208Fin a zojirushi stainless boiler that is plugged into a battery bank and invertor system powered by my solar panels. I just splash the grounds with hot water first and allow them to rest and swell for a couple minutes. After the brewing is complete, i serve it in prewarmed mugs, with raw hawaiian sugar and organic 1/2 & 1/2.
Its really good!

As the silver witch glided toward them, Kaelci could feel the woman’s essence attempting to infiltrate her, the ghostly tendrils of the woman’s aura snaking around her and trying to enter her mind… she would not have it! A sudden burst of determination flew through her, overwhelming the sadness that had been trying to take form, and she stood her ground and stared severely into the pale blue eyes of the approaching witch.

“Sita, is there anything within you of the woman that I once knew?”

Sita laughed her melodic tunes, her sweet laughter filling the air and echoing around the deathly silence of the forest.

“Oh Kaelci, my dear! The woman that you knew was but a quaint mockery. I see into your heart and I know of that which Darien has told you… every word that he spoke, every image that he sent you… it was all true. And I will be most pleased to bring retribution to this man who destroyed my way of life.”

She was almost upon them! Kaelci refused to take heed of the witch’s words, knowing that the woman was trying to shake her, yet her confidence was as strong as ever! She took a swift step toward the oncoming witch and was about to allow her power to flow through her, when Darien lightly touched her arm and shook his head.

Have patience, dear lady. Friends will be upon us in but a moment.

Ignoring the fact that he had once more spoken directly to her mind in a manner she disapproved, she sent him a questioning glance and was rewarded with nothing but a nonchalant wink. He stood casually, a hand upon his hip, his dimple fixed amidst his cheek, and he smiled almost warmly at the approaching woman.

“Hail Sita, a finer demon was never more desired!”

He bowed his head toward her in a reverent manner, and unexpectedly! A handful of pixies flew past his head and hastened towards Sita, showering her with pixie dust and fluttering about the tendrils of her long black hair, pulling and tugging individual strands and giggling in their little chattery voices as they harassed the suddenly flustered woman.

The silver witch spun about in circles, trying to swat at the cheeky winged creatures but missing with every flail of her arms, her voice high pitched and horrified as she screeched.

“Little menaces! Leave me alone!”

Sita spun about in frantic circles, her arms flailing, the little pixies giggling, when as they had expended the last of their pixie dust they swiftly flew away, Kaelci taking swift note of the little pink-haired one blowing a little kiss to Darien as she zoomed after her companions.

She returned her gaze to the witch before them, coated in pink and silver pixie glitter, effervescent bubbles popping all around her as the pixie magic performed how only such magic could. Little Pinky and inadvertent jealousy swiftly forgotten as she stared at Sita in wonder, the silver witch performing a transformation right before her eyes!

Shrinking smaller and smaller, the witch began to sprout a shimmery silver fur that covered her body, her once majestic dress dissolving into an oozing metallic pool, her flowing black hair receding into her skull as her delicate ears began to point upwards in a feline manner. She was changing into a cat!

Feline Sita fell to the ground upon all fours, landing flat onto her face as a bushy tail suddenly popped out from her behind; blue eyes accusing, pink nose twitching, the woman was human no longer.

The time zones! I KNOW!
I feel so out of place with everyone, haha!

About ten years ago, I found a few friends in the UK... I was VERY disappointed to learn that they awoke in my evening and were in bed by my 9am. So I did the unthinkable.... I changed my sleeping hours! LOL. Oh, back then when I could do such a thing with no repercussions

I might be able to add a bit more to it later though! We'll see how fast the pages fly today, lol!

Hello WIS! ~ Nice to see you over there, knitting by the fireplace.

Well, that certainly sounds very involved for coffee but it sounds also as if it may be worth it!

The picture show would be fun, if you have time of course!

So, organic garden and solar power. Am I sensing a 'theme' here?

Hey Bird. Here is my little buddy. He has a nest in my pine tree and comes down when I go out in the yard. He always hangs out with me, sometimes for hours. His name is Beja Flor ( flower kisser)
