move the clutter into a pile that looks almost purposefull and out of the way. Make the bed with clean linens. Make sure the toilet is clean. and toilet paper is available and soap on the sink. clean soap. If it is a date, she has no real reason to visit the kitchen. have a clear sofa and living room table.

I am a professional organizer. These things can be done in a matter of 20 minutes. Grab a laundry basket for clutter in your room or 2. same basket for cutter on the sofa or living room table and bathroom. make sure that toilet is clean and there is something to wash one;s hands. Have the drinks, glasses and ice on the living room table.
