col hackworth "Since this tragic war kicked off in March 2003, the United States has evacuated an estimated 50,000 KIA, WIA and non-battle casualties from Iraq back to the States – leaving 50,000 slots that have had to be filled."

more smoke to fire, theres alot more on the internet about this than i thought, seems theres talk of it from some us soldiers on there own blogs(been unable to find any so far, maybe why there being shut down , like after the mosul attack?)

ive also been told that someone is going to make a web site with all the DOD list of dead and post it everywhere asking familys to comment via email if there son/daughter/husband/wife is not on the list.

this a quote from returning us soldier from iraq

"Rieckhoff criticized the military for not releasing the entire number of those killed or injured in Iraq, a figure he said is far greater than the 1,416 listed as killed and 10,622 listed as wounded by the Defense Department.

"It takes guys like us to embarrass [Defense Secretary Donald] Rumsfeld before things get changed,"

The page you linked is down now.

As I've said before I wouldn't doubt it and the larger overall lists would be quite easy to manipulate. Everytime someone questions it just say sorry that was a clerical error. That person/family drops the issue. The next person/family asks about someone not on the list.. same story.
