After watching the Sh@@ Show On YouTube Right Now and reading Society is forced to be accepting of gays & transgenders. I started reading the comments and more articles until I stumbled upon this image...

Is this for real? How can there possibly be that many?

I'm just a country bumpkin idiot. I thought you were Male or Female - Hetero or Homo. Times have changed.

Rofl! Must be from a satire site. I didn't know that 2% of the population could be that confused and f##ed up.

Cheers - Dave

before European "christians" forced Native Americans to have just 2 specific Genders, they had at least 5

"In fact, people who had both female and male characteristics were viewed as gifted by nature, and therefore, able to see both sides of everything. According to Indian Country Today, all native communities acknowledged the following gender roles: “Female, male, Two Spirit female, Two Spirit male and Transgendered.”

I keep hearing how hermophrodytes are not only coveted but more intelligent in past societies. Must have been nice.

Thank you for the article and POV! Fascinating, I love learning something new!

I know may Asiatic cultures revere this quality and physical hermaphrodites, but I did not know that Native Americans did also.

Hopefully the symbols will never be used with the general public. I suspect just the two best known in the group are all that most people could ever remember and use.

Maybe the shrinks need them to keep track of their theories.

There is no distance they won't go to seem like a special snowflake. Once we all get sick of it and finally "accept" whatever gender they wish to call themselves, they'll find a new way we are oppressing them.

A non male or female can feel good now that they have their own symbol. I wish I had a t-shirt screen shop. I see $ signs.

male, female, transgender 1, transgender 2, hemaphrodite

But then again I thought transgenders actually want to be the other gender so

male, female, hemaphordite

It's for people who feel the need to have an identity because they lack one otherwise. They then base themselves on these gender constructs that have been created. These people are essentially missing something, so they lock onto this superficiality of an identity.
It's like getting tattoos and then one's identity becomes that tattooed person.
The person has essentially added nothing of value to themselves

Thank you for the articles, interesting reading. I had heard some of this before, but had never seen it laid out so eloquently.

I would like to add a bit of information here for folks without sounding like the PC Police or the highly maligned SJW.

"Hermaphrodite" is s term most are familiar with to refer to someone that has the sexual characteristics or reproductive parts of both sexes. In actuality, hermaphrodite is a term coined from mythology and the people that are born with DSD's (Disorder/Difference of Sex Development) would greatly prefer not to be thought of as mythical creatures.

The correct term instead of hermaphrodite is intersex. There are many intersex conditions and they occur far more frequently than one would imagine. You can learn a lot more by visiting the Intersex Society of North America.

So babies are born male, female or intersex/undetermined. It's a boy! It's a girl! It's a... well, we're not quite sure so we're calling in a specialist. This happens in somewhere around 1 in every 1600 to 2000 births.

Here is some perspective on the multiple gender labels from a transgender girl who's deal is to be an anti-feminist MRA and controversial for YouTube views. (Note, she uses the T-word to refer to herself. That doesn't mean it is cool for other people to use)

They missed out that symbol for "Mental Issues" ( which probably wipes out all but 3 symbols ) seriously if we are to believe this crap I swear I went to sleep and woke up in fantasy land.

Why is someone mentally ill bc they have both male and female body parts, or bc they love the same sex or identify as the opposite sex?

Low frequency + narrow minds = ignorance
