I agree that scientific investigation cannot be compared to an investigation into government conspiracy theories. Science is free to investigate and examine evidence...ordinary people are not free to investigate the government and often have no means to gather evidence.

Why not encourage critical thinking by asking pointed questions?

. . . I think the current conspiracy unfolding now is the question of how planned was muslim migration and is it part of an end game for ww3 west vs Islam as the possibly real letter by albert pike stated it would be.
A pointed question wherein the point is primarily designed to belittle, insult or trash the other person out of one's own insecurities or personal inner gritch or angst or whatever such . . . is something else and quite unnecessary.

Oooops botched my edit up . . . oh well . . . here's what I meant to change the above to:
A pointed question wherein the point is primarily designed to belittle, insult or trash the other person out of one's own insecurities, chronic anger, chronic arrogance or personal inner gritch or angst or whatever such . . . is something else and quite unnecessary.

I've been noticing an alarming trend lately. It's almost as if the conspiracy theorist and people who are working on alternative theories to mainstream science, history and political propaganda have been slowly dwindling.
Is it just me or is skepticism totally taking over?
What happened to taking a step back from your emotions and views and opening your mind to alternative perspectives and theories?

I took logic in college and ended the class with a 106% thanks to extra credit opportunities.
Logically, there is no such thing as 106% of something.

Many realized how pointless it's become to share any observations or thought that isn't force fed by agenda driven think tanks or the MSM.
Some of us/them started noticing who was being elevated... and who was being drowned out or deleted.
The trend as of a few years ago is that we "those that can think" are unwanted and quite frankly an annoyance to the beekeepers.
Many of us just said screw you then... and left most social venues that are now infested with the pouncy naysayers just itching to shut another scary thinker up.. inflame them.. make them mad so we get emotional then say something we normally wouldn't then we get removed and the baiters get a free pass (because they use careful guidelines that skirt the rules just enough to make it all look harmless.. but it's not)
Sick of traps
Sick of trolls
Sick of the Agency apologists
Just plain sick of it.
