Listen, I don't know how it ALL works. I am figuring it out as I go. I am learning based on what I am going through. I am legitimately going through a lymphatic detox. I legitimately had a node in my solar plexus burst and expel liquids and granules into my system. No bloodwork shows anything. My throat has been swelling on and off. My tonsils go up and then go back down again. One minute I am bloating the next minute I am fine. One minute I feel great, the next I feel I might drop dead. This is REALLY hard, but IF I am right, this could mean there is a cure for things like ALS and Parkinson's by detoxing the lymph system, and all it takes is getting on a diet of citrus, grapefruit especially, drinking apple cider vinegar, maybe even juicing like I do with the Nutribullet. If it is just a matter of diet, what does it hurt to try? To stay by the books is to condemn everyone with Parkinson's and ALS to their chairs for the rest of their lives. I am going through something very tough. VERY tough. My digestive tract shut down last night and I barely slept. I just know what I am going through...

Maybe the fluid of the lymph system works like a filter itself that causes chemicals to accumulate and disperse based on charge or weight or something. I dunno... I DO know it is not subject to a pressure system of its own and is subject to gravity which can explain the effects of spaceflight and zero G on people -- an out of control lymphatic system because the fluid is subject to gravity....

Interesting! I have been learning a about health lately. I was diagnosed with Hashimotos, anemia and there are talks of having me tested for Celiacs so I've been doing nothing but reading.

One thing to try that may help your digestive system is L-Glutamine. Since I have taken it I have been able to absorb my normal vitamins easily and my body is definitely thanking me.

lymph fluid is not interstitial fluid. often when is in zits is a variety of glandular secretions. Apocrine glands are a favorite, as well as sebaceous glands (which have a really oily discharge).

Most often, the water substance is a weak serosanguinous fluid, with a potential for a small amount of lymph fluid (pus).

All the rest of the stuff you are talking about...no comment.

You cannot figure out physiology, you need to study it to understand it. And it takes years, not hours.

I am learning based on what I am going through. I am legitimately going through a lymphatic detox.

No such thing as a lymphatic detox.

I legitimately had a node in my solar plexus burst and expel liquids and granules into my system. No bloodwork shows anything.

How do you know it sent granules to your system? Did you see it?
I'm not surprised blood tests have come back clear.

My throat has been swelling on and off. My tonsils go up and then go back down again. One minute I am bloating the next minute I am fine. One minute I feel great, the next I feel I might drop dead.

You need to see a doctor.

Good diets are what doctors promote all the time, I have seen that with my own eyes. But no food or herb you ingest can detox anything, your own body has the best machines for detox which work for you 24/7 (kidneys, liver and even your lungs are your detox system). Juicing is also a fad to make people buy fancy juicers, you get a lot more vitamins, fibres and nutrients from eating a whole raw fruit.

I have no idea what you mean by 'your digestive tract shut down', but if you think it did then you may have a condition called idiopathic gastroparesis and you should go see your doctor about it.

man, i have a nutribullet and I love it. I don't "juice" or anything like that. I like eating too much. But its a great little machine to make quick vinaigrette's and whatnot. I find myself using it in place of the food processor more and more.

Oh, I already became a doctor last year, from the internet.
I'm working on being an aeronautical engineer this week.
I'll be posting my new inventions, with some corrections of current methods and principles, tomorrow.

You give it a good use, I was referring to people believing that juicing is almost miraculous when it's not at all, it's all a fad, it's sooo much healthier to eat a fruit or vegetable. People with little understanding think juicing can detox your body, well, that's a lie.

Best post today! lol

Funny how nobody ever tell pilots how to fly a plane better, according to what they have 'learned 'with their google research.

OP, your ideas on the lymphatic system and toxins and how it all works together are in error. There are too many errors in your pseudo science ideas to go over. Agartha is trying to show you.

Your first problem is your mental disorder. It is the center point suspect for your ideas on how the Lymphatic system works.

www.mayoclinic.org...

Read about his disorder first and then you realize why he thinks the way he does.

Just a taste of signs and symptoms:

Signs and symptoms of schizoaffective disorder may include, among others:
•Delusions — having false, fixed beliefs
•Hallucinations, such as hearing voices
•Major depressed mood episodes
•Possible periods of manic mood or a sudden increase in energy and behavioral displays that are out of character
•Impaired occupational and social functioning
•Problems with cleanliness and physical appearance
•Paranoid thoughts and ideas

Placebo can have drug like curing effects.

I would suggest laying off the grapefruit, truly one of the more dangerous foods that humans think is normal to eat. I don't think stomach bleeding, kidney issues, and script effects are worth it. Take the vit c/multivitamin pill in the morning and have some eggs.

If you have schizoaffective disorder this means you likely are taking an antipsychotic like INVEGA and grapefruit is known to interact with it.

If you are juicing you are likely starving yourself. In some people it causes hyperactivity like myself which can seem great.

There's not such thing as "detox" or "cleansing" your body. You can do some tricks to help expel gall stones, maybe....but thats about as magical as you can make things.

Juicing is a terrible idea. You ingest all the carbohydrates and water soluble nutrients. You leave behind the fiber and non water soluble nutrients, which just seems like a bad idea for digestive health.

None of what we say will help the OP here, however. This is something that they will need to see someone else to get help with.

How can you be so sure? Grapefruit is known to be especially risky with medication.

As it stands, there are now more than 85 drugs that may interact with grapefruit. The number of drugs that may result in potentially fatal side effects when mixed with grapefruit increased from 17 to 43 during the past four years. This equates to more than six new potentially risky drugs a year.

There really is a reason that people have to go to school for many years to practice medicine! -And there really is a reason the doctors need to have pharm reps come in and keep them up to date on the current drugs and their usage.

Listen, I just know what I am going through right now. I do not know how it all really works. It is a working theory based on what has been going on with my body.

As far as the grapefruit thing, I have found that Vitamin C is a natural anti-toxin. That is why it works when you are sick -- it absorbs toxins created by bacteria in your system, and of all the citruses carrying Vitamin C, Grapefruit is the HIGHEST detoxer of them all. This is why it interacts with meds like it does -- cause they are toxic. Doesn't mean I will stop taking my meds, though. I still need them. I was a skeptic of all of this once too, now I believe because of what is going on with my body. If organisms and substances are nullified or changed by Graprefruit especially it means it is toxic, due to it's very high anti-toxic effects on the body...

As far as juicing -- I don't JUST juice, your body needs solid things sometimes too... It is more of a supplemental thing...

I know because I threw some up and some surfaced in my throat and caused it to close which sent me to the hospital, though they could not find anything. Some have come up through my tonsils and have caused my tongue to blister because of how toxic they are. It wasn't till I took some apple cider vinegar that the inflammation effect faded and disappeared. It was not so much the apple cider vinegar as it was liquid that began to secrete from my tonsil that caused the anti-inflammation effect, so I theorize that the lymphatic system is also the chemical reactor that determines what effects foods, herbs, and pills have on someone, and everyone is different...

This is not just helping me -- it is also helping my mom who is in the hospital for psychiatric reasons. NO MEDS were working on her till I told them to give her Vitamin C. Now they say she is doing better...

Exactly how do you know that? Care to explain the chemical process that means vitamin C can do that?

I don't know the process. People who can find out what it is need to look into it. I am just pointing out WHERE I FELT the process happen. If you or any of you are scientists please look into how the lymphatic system interacts with chemicals and HOW it happens. PLEASE. It could mean the further refinement of meds and substances that can be of HIGH benefit to us...

She didn't mention taking a statin, or any other drug on that list. When I started a statin I was told specifically by my doctor to not consume grapefruit in any of it's forms.

With all the work the OP has done on this topic, I doubt she would have missed a contraindication with grapefruit/a medication.

The OP wanted to share some experiments and research she's done, and it has turned into the usual insulting, ego ridden "I know more than you do" conversation. Blah. Except for Agartha, who obviously does know more than anybody else, and seems to be well intentioned.
