Ding-dong the witch is dead (figuratively speaking, well at least one). Apparently, not even Hillary liked her. And we all know how Bernie and his supporters felt about her.

Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz drew the ire of her party for initially scheduling only six Democratic presidential primary debates - and those being on Saturday and Sunday nights when few people would be expected to tune in.

The Bronx cheer you’re hearing as you read this article is coming from Vermont, where Bernie Sanders fans are cheering the departure of the southern Florida congresswoman known as DWS.

At least the replacement doesn't have a bad perm and a face like a horse.

That wasn't a perm and looks don't matter.

Lol, I thought the same thing. That hair and face was ridiculous.

This timing is a little too convenient.

I see yet another scandal coming and this time in involves the DNC.

Certainly not. There is plenty of reasons related to policy and decisions made to judge her poorly.

This may be slightly off topic but I must make a comment.

I feel for you, Kali. You and all the other Bernie supporters that aren't inclined to toe the party line just for the party's sake, I feel for you guys and the terrible position you've been put in this cycle.

Say what one may about Sanders' policies, you and people like you are what we need more of in this country. Rational thinkers, not blind to the corruption of the system at large. I think a lot of people followed Sanders for the wrong reasons. You and many others on this board are not those people.

When there are more like us who care little about party affiliation and only wish to support candidates that stand for what we stand for, this country can start having more honest discussions about the issues at hand and men and women like DWS will, hopefully, be a distant memory of where we almost went.

Sorry for the off topic rambling but I feel like Bernie supporters in general get bashed on this site a lot and there is a large subset of those people that are just as much acting as a part of the solution, as opposed to the problem, as anyone else.

Agreed. I think it is likely, as other posters mentioned, that information leaks showing her culpability in some shady dealings.

Probably the reason why every news outlet I've seen carrying this story is using a picture of DWS with a seriously worried looking face!

Well, that's what blind devotion and loyalty to Hillary Clinton gets you...

Isn't this kind of what happens at the end of every movie where somebody mercilessly does the devil's bidding - the dark master ends up destroying/consuming their loyal minion?

And now they will leave her totally exposed against her Primary opponent who is being supported by Bernie Sanders.

See ya Debbie...

As a Bernie supporter, this is great news. I couldn't stand her and felt she did everything in her power to hand the nomination to Hillary. I also feel she did nothing but divide the DNC as well, which is plenty of reason for her to step down.

No, Donald has a bad comb over (not a perm) and looks like an orangutan (not a horse).

Bernie met with Hillary the other day. Here's how the conversation went.

Hillary: Ok, Bernie, I am the nominee and I want the support of you and your followers. What can I do to make that happen?

Bernie: You can start by getting rid of that witch DWS, who's tried to sabotage my campaign and has been a thorn in my side.

Hillary: Done.

It looks like the TOP people at the DNC will play musical chairs and STILL get who they want...

Will the people let them?

Thank you for that. I agree. Nothing will change very much in this country if we let ourselves be scared into voting for the lesser of two evils.

Yeah, kind of hard to take someone serious who looks like the wife of a 1960's era Mr. Ed lol.

Cheers - Dave
