It's quite telling when someone without chains calls himself and others slaves. If your chains are imaginative, it comes as no surprise to find your enslavement is as well.

The chains are very real. Intangible bindings formed with debt and dependence instead of iron.

Well, it stands to reason that Christians are some of the people who have the most to lose from socialism and communism but they are by no means the only people. Communism would SUCK for a lot of people who aren't even religious. A lot of them just don't realize it because they believe it's all about peace and love and sharing and all that nonsense. The part that John Lenon left to the imagination was what happens to people who won't go along with it. So you would only imagine that part if you didn't like the sound of no possessions and all that good stuff.

No? You disagree? You think capitalism is good? You think dictatorship of the riches is good? Capitalism=dictatorship of the riches. The rich dictate the poor what to do, what to work, how long to work, enslave them to make their profits worthwhile. While they live in paradise. The banks live in paradise while we are the slaves for them. Want to enslave a whole planet? Introduce money (capitalism). Look at the world. We are enslaved.

In real communism there exists no money. If there is money, it's not real communism, because money destroys any type community (even in the family in your home if you lack money). If there is money it always divides people in rich and poor, no matter what. If you disagree you have not understood money. It always makes the rich richer and the poor poorer. Until you have an enslaved world. It's a process which will always happen. Now tell me again how evil communism is....

Full blown Socialism and Communism are awful because they almost inevitably regress into dictatorships, I just wish people would understand that some of the ideals and systems need to be integrated into Capitalism or it ends up failing too.

It is quite telling if someone speaks about imagination, when the destruction of our society is visible in every corner of the world. It comes as no suprise if this person has rode his life on the upper side of the coin and dwells in a purple dreamworld.

I have never met one person that said communism is about peace, they have a horrible track record, my issue is the antichrist bit,god does not exist so the whole thread is funny at best.

Anyone who thinks an economic system is about peace/love/anything not related to economics is, bluntly put, an idiot. Communism and Socialism aren't about peace and love any more than Capitalism is, but 'nor are they about war and hate either. (Outside the wars that Capitalism starts to obtain oil and fund its military industrial complex, but I digress.)

Communism actually IS a religion. So is socialism. And they are (contrary to the lies of the socialists) the same thing. And they're always on about peace. Especially when someone is at war with a communist dictatorship and they want the enemies of communism to lose.

Money is definitely useful, but is also inherently a means of division, and easily used for control. It only has value to people who agree it has value, like power it is a shadow on the wall. It is essentially a cage we have willingly entered. A brand we have willingly placed upon our brow.

The chains are not physical, but they are very much present. To a lesser or greater extent. On some people, they cease to be chains and instead become wings. Wings driven by the work of others.

Yet someone like Oprah can go from poverty stricken child to a multi-millionaire. A slave to your own choices. Very few people but you have got you to where you are, whether that is in chains or not.
