You've been sleeping with your earrings in or wearing glasses?

Hi, welcome from a fellow INFP, now INFX for business purposes. I still have an occasional eye twitch because of it!

When was the last time you noticed that those scars weren't there? Is it possible that they are from past, forgotten battles with a curling iron?

There was a thread on Strange Markings that you may be interested in:

Enjoy your stay.

Those are raised white scars. Abductions, both et and milab types possible.

I'd get regression for this.

Maybe you had to have tubes in your ears as a baby because of ear infections.

Neither. Don't wear glasses, except sunglasses outside. Rarely ever wear earrings.

No ear infections, no curling irons and no hickies, lol. I was about 21 when I first noticed them.

Thanks for the info & the link. I thought INFX was a band, lol. Oh wait, that's INXS. What does the X stand for?

Read part of that thread but it seems different than my scars.

And I never was much for curling irons. Used briefly as a teen but never got burns.

They are odd scars, to be sure. Don't really want to believe I was abducted, as much as I love the theory. I'd regress myself but I don't go under very easily. I'm one of those rare people that can't be induced all that deeply, whether by someone else or by myself. I stay too conscious and aware. Never believed anyone wouldn't remember everything that was going on while under hypnosis until I found this out about myself. Thought everyone was like that.

This will be a bit of thread drift, but since it is your thread and you are the one who asked, maybe it will be okay:

You were quick to say you were an INFP in your intro, so I assumed you knew what these things stand for. The P stands for how you make decisions. P is for perceiving and the P trait needs all the available data, but will mull over things ad nausea and never come to a decision, or take a long time, and once they do, they are not sure of the decision and will keep mulling over it, looking for additional data. The J, on the other hand, with J standing for judging, but not in the ordinary sense of the word; but the J, given the same decision to make, will make a quick decision, based on available data, and move on, without feeling the need to go back later and consider if that was the correct decision to make. As a business owner and busy hospital administrator, I didn't have the luxury to "contemplate" things the way I would normally do. I had to develop the skills to make quick decisions and move on. Some staff members felt I was heartless. Quite the contrary, but I had to put my heart aside to do a job.

I wrote about it somewhere here and I think I can find it. If so, I will add a link to that later, but it is just a rough re-cap off of an old memory.

In Myers Briggs, or the way it used to be anyway, one never deviated from being an introvert or an extrovert, although there are degrees; once an introvert, always an introvert, etc. However, the other three categories can be developed or changed over time. If one tests "on the fence" where they are 50-50, then that category is replaced with an X. Thus, I am a 50/50 mix of an INFP and an INFJ, which would then be designated as INFX. If you favored the thinking side of your brain, rather than the feeling side, you would be an INTP instead of an INFP; and if you were 50/50, you would be an INXP. Make sense?

Edit: Found the post. It is half way down a rather lengthy post on a thread I wish I had stayed away from, called Questions for Empaths, but here goes:

They do look like scars, from what we can see in the pis. Any way to check with parents to see if there was some injury or another, that could have caused them? Might not even be serious; I have a scar on my right hand from a broken towel bar lip. Little scratch, but it scarred. They don't look like they'd be from chicken pox or anything like that, though.

I have asked before and they don't remember anything & my mom has a huge memory, for small details even. And I do have some Chicken Pox scars on my face, mostly on my forehead & nose, so I know how they look. Most of my scars are not white though. Most are just blend in to my normal skin color. I got a quarter-sized burn on my arm last summer from a 300F pan & it is just a shade lighter than my regular skin-tone now, which is rather light itself. But these old scars are albino white, no pigment at all.

Wish I could take better pictures of them but so far these are the best I can do unless I can get someone else to take them for me. Kind of a weird request to ask of someone, lol.

Anyway, I've enjoyed all of ideas you've all shared with me. Some of them had not occured to me before. Too bad none fit quite yet... Keep 'em coming!

Thanks for that INFP/J/X info. That makes sense now! And I'm definetly a P type. Obviously. I can't even decide what these scars are after 20 years of mulling it over, even with all this ATS help! lol

I hear you there. I have questions I've been turning around on my tongue for over 40 years, and now this irritatingly practical side of me is emerging that will occasionally whisper, "Must we go there again?" I had to laugh when I read that my type "will work on a problem until it is solved, or until they have come to the conclusion that there is no solution." For a P we're talking a very long time indeed.

With a bit of a wink, I suspect that you are approaching that secondary conclusion with these two particular scars.

I have an unexplained scar on the top of my foot. Its a very straight vertical line about 1 cm in length. Never noticed it until I was in hospital after childbirth and the doctor checking my legs asked if I has ever had an operation on my foot, I said no and he pointed out this scar. He said it looks like a scar from an incision. I have never in all my life noticed this scar, I have never cut or hurt my foot that would cause this. The scar it bright white, I have had operations in the past which have left scars and none of them are as white as this scar or as clean. Its very odd!

When I saw your first picture I thought it could be a pigment patch but then I saw you have them behind both of your ears which is odd. I have worn studded earrings for years and I do not have any scars behind my ears....

It has to do with how much a truth seeker you are. If you really want to find out what's going on, you dig as far as you can in your lifetime.

If you ever did, look into Mary Rodwell from Acern, Australia and just see if she can recommend anyone who could even do skype sessions.

OR, Dolores Cannon trained regressionists. The kind of longer sessions that take you deep.

There are other ways, but it would take a whole thread on approaching shaking your memories out, with binaurals, stargazing, setting permission before sleep, asking urgently while doing dishes in zenmode, automatic repetive mode, connected to water, questions and then just letting go and going mindless or zen, thats when psi kicks in, no left brain override.

Doing chakra meditations and out of the box versions, like some of the 12 chakra ones where you start unblocking your energetic centers above the earth in your mind.

Everything you can learn about Robert Munroe.

There are ways of seeking that shake the monkey tree and see what drops out, so to speak. Poking your memories with a stick and not stopping.

Working with your dna and giving yourself permission to heal the nerfing done on humanity. To reclaim your sovereignity and to heal and gain Higher Human mind and abilities.

When your left hemisphere says, that is nonsense, who would believe in all of this. You research and challenge yourself, you set little tests up and see where it goes. You conduct your own experiments to wake up more, because you don't want to be in a box.

I firmly believe that anyone who is seeking, finds.

Remember you are a Sovereign Being, no one has any rights to access and touch you against your will. Reclaim your sovereignty and will healing. Set the boundaries of what is allowed around you ever!

I stumbled upon your post while I was googling "small white scars behind ears". I have the same thing as you. When I feel the scars with my finger, it is indented. I have them behind each ear. I wondered if I was born with forceps, but I read that you were not. I'm 53 but noticed them for the first time maybe in my 20's or 30's. They may have been there before that I just didn't notice. I also thought they might be an acne scar or a chicken pox mark, except that they are behind both ears in the same place.
