I can see Facebooks will being bent to do it but reddi t? I know they have a lot of volunteer mods that in my experience are in power trips, but for all of them to delete posts suggesting the Orlando event was perpetrated by muslims, someone has to be instructing them to do so, dont ya think?

Facebook and Reddit accused of censorship after pages discussing Orlando carnage are deleted in wake of terrorist attack
I thought this was very disturbing that reddit and facebook are deleting and censoring posts in regards to this event. A lot of other articles state that reddit mods are deleting and banning memebers that suggest the perpetrators of the Orlando shooting was muslim. I find this very disheartening and would like to know what my fellow members think and feel about what facebook and reddit are doing, are they hiding the fact this was a planned event, how far down the rabbit hole does this go???
The moderator also said Orlando threads were being 'brigaded' - a process by which users band together to down or upvote a given topic or opinion ('It's the Reddit form of a lynch mob,' according to one user's explanation).
'We did a poor job reacting to the brigades and ultimately chose to lock several threads and then consolidate other big threads into a megathread,' the r/News moderator wrote.

Just basing my conclusions on the article in the OP and years long interactions with both websites.
I didn't personally see any posts deleted.
There's no such thing as a stupid question my friend

There are multiple instances of reddit and facebook censorship and this is not the only article. If you do a quick search you will see abuse of mod power from topics of entertainment to real life events. I dont know if there is any malice behind it or just megalomaniac moderators abusing power. Which is why I brought this to the communities attention to discuss and dissect and hopefully better understand the reasoning behind all of this.

...but when someone talks about muslims being involved in orlando shootings just to be deleted is wrong...
