But the U.S. has a population four times greater than Germany’s and five times the U.K.’s, so on a per-capita basis the U.S. ranks low in comparison — actually, those two countries would have had a frequency of attacks 1.96 (Germany) and 2.46 (UK) times higher.

Having lived in the USA for a decade, I can agree that the US is not quite as dangerous as it is made out to be. However, I live in New Zealand .... I am pretty sure I am safer her, baring earthquakes, volcanoes and Tsunami.

all these stats and charts are a load of cods- wallop and will not saves lives.the more weapons out there, the ease to buy firearms the more these shootings will go on .if people in the usa are so clever with guns how come the killers are not taken out in the first five minuets then, fat lot of good saying you need guns for defence and the like if you dont shoot back,i was in the british army for 9 years and i couldnt just go and get a weapon from the armoury because some-one pissed me off.more control of guns and less guns out there is the only way forward.if you cant have less guns in the usa then you might have the brains to buy some bullet proof vests or find another way to save life.

Umm AUssie rules? OR Rugby? Slight difference. Oh and yeah Australia is also safer than the US if you ignore the animals, wild fires, and droughts.
