Now this may have been posted before...If so, I'm sorry, dip me in honey and throw me to the moderators.

The vid postulates our freedoms and the choices we are allowed are no different to the better conditions farm animals receive to make them more productive.

Choice is an illusion, as is freedom...

What do you think? Are you really free?
How does this mesh with things such as matrix theory and suchlike?

Matrix is right. It begins with the day in preschool when you are divided into teams to 'play ball' competing against each other instead of working together. They divide us against each other with sports.

They teach us in sunday school to 'just believe' things without any proof, later the news will fill that role. They teach us the authority figure, the teacher and the teachers desk, later in church its the Minister's pulpit and in higher education, the Professor's Podium. And always hanging over head is the flag, a bit of colored cloth.

Centralized top down authoritarian divide and rule, from childhood to maturity, good little romans.

Be fruitful and multiply, be ambitious, earn, pay your tax, consume…

One can also make the argument that the average citizen is so ignorant, apathetic, misinformed and lazy that
they themselves allow this "matrix" or "enslavement". People are absolutely nescient.
I was at a Costco last week. It was downright scary. A horde of zombies. As you walk in the entrance, there are
4 -5 rows of big TVs, all hooked up to a cable or dish system. "The Price Is Right" game show was playing on the first huge 70-inch TV as I walked in.
I thought it would be a hoot if "The Matrix" would have been playing on every TV.

So what's the answer?
How are we going to eat? Get shelter? Look after our families from outside of this system we are stuck in?
