Same. Just got our house not that long ago, freaky stuff is occurring all the time. Only, different, thing I know is it was built in 1940and has had a high turnover of owners before us. And it DOES look like a stone grave in the back yard but I do not even want to know

An experience i had when I was 17 (I'm now 34).
I was resting in my bed, inside my secure room in a hostel here in North West UK. I was drifting off to sleep, and went into a hypnopompic state before actually getting into the land of nod. Immediately, I felt the manifestation of a 'woman' materialise on top of me (like a sexual position), and she leaned forward - I could feel a sense of her wanting to kiss me, and being young & inexperienced in the ways of other-worldly stuff, I obliged. As she kissed me, from her mouth into my own, a large ball of hard jelly-type material was passed, which seemed immediately to somehow self-propel down my throat, into my stomach. I panicked & the hypnopompic state dissipated.
*snip*
My question to you is - have you heard of anything similar? I really cannot find any evidence of anything quite like this happening to anyone else, ever.

To: LadyGreenEyes.
I didn't mean it in a mocking way and I apologize if it came across that way.
I wouldn't know what to call it either. It kind of reminded me of something my sister experienced.

Years ago, my sister invited me to her family's house. When I walked through the front door, the place felt different, but I didn't say anything; the house wasn't like that before. Later that day, she asked if I sensed anything. I told her it felt like something was watching us, but in particular her... like a peeping-tom. She then told me that a few weeks prior, she was in the shower and a figure was peeking around the bathroom doorway at her. She thought it was her husband, so she jokingly shouted at her husband- Hey!!! Get out of here!

One of his friends kept insisting he (his friend) lived across the street from a haunted house. But, every time he wanted to show friends... nothing happened. He asked if my buddy wanted to take a chance to see see a ghost. My buddy said- Of course!
At his friend's place, they were on the 2nd floor and they had to wait until night... no drinking allowed that night. I think he said it was a little after midnight when he heard this squeaking noise from across the street. They made a small opening in the curtains to peer out; my buddy said it was a little foggy. Across the street was an abandoned house with a white picket fence. He said- bah! Just a creaky fence! Good one!
Sshhh, his friend said and told him to keep looking. As they looked at the front yard across the street, something appeared and started going through the solid fence in a cicular motion. A couple minutes later, it became more visibly clear- it was a little girl on a tricycle... a squeaky tricycle. My buddy watched for about 10 minutes straight, but the girl was there a longer and then disappeared, as well as the squeaking. No drinking, no projector, no prank, etc. His friend said that happened once in awhile, regardless of the weather. But, he couldn't predict when.
My bud said to me- I can't say I haven't experienced it... I have no choice but to believe it is real now. I saw it with my own eyes and heard it.

Cool thread! I'm gonna come back and read it all, but here's something that rocked my world:
About 5 years ago I went to a UCLA vs. Cal football game. My daughter was attending UCLA and it was parents day.
Early in the game a strange feeling came over me and I told my daughter that UCLA was going to win the game and that we would see the winning touchdown right in front of us as we were close to an end zone. That in itself was weird because I had never blurted out any sort of prediction like that in my life.
I sat there wondering what made me say that. Just before halftime, I was thinking, well that's not much of a prediction because that would be the end zone for UCLA to score in at the end of the game and I started debunking my own prediction. I stared at that end zone for a few minutes and then had another feeling. I told my daughter that it would happen between the A and the sideline (UCLA is painted in the end zone). She laughed, said "ok dad" and we watched the rest of the game.
With about 23 seconds remaining in the game, UCLA was ahead but Cal was in scoring position on the far end of the field. Looked like Cal was going to kick a field goal to win the game on that end. But Cal threw one last pass, and it was intercepted, and the UCLA player ran it back all the way to our end zone and he ran right between the A and the sideline. Right in front of us.
The home crowd roared for minutes as my daughter and I stared silently at each other in disbelief. We both knew at that moment that we had been given a sign of something metaphysical and unexplainable. It changed my life, started me on a path of metaphysical research and renewed my love of quantum physics. A few years later I learned of the quantum experiment which proved that the future can affect the past:

I have too many. I am very sensitive to things and so I see more than I honestly want to, but for now I will talk about something less spooky and more odd. Two time shifts in the same location in Toronto.

Both times it was a sunny Summer day and no odd weather either.

Also this one I am not sure is real or not. 2 years ago I was taking a nap in my room. Suddenly I remember running down a long corridor with a man in a astronaut-type outfit. He kept telling me I had to escape or they would find me. As we reached some weird chamber I told him to remove his helmet. He said if he did I would be scared. I insisted I wouldn't and when he did he looked like a reptile or bird-like thing. I said I thought he was beautiful and then there was a flash of light and I found myself staring up at the ceiling. I never wake up like that. I also don't lay on my back due to breathing issues. Still no idea what that was...

Yes lol! A fundamental when having bought a 1940 home or as previously, heritage homes. I have stated aloud that if they were not friendlies, then they were no longer welcome in this home as we own it now, not them. Didn't get rid of them, just intensified things. Brrrrrrrr.

I've heard a saying... The only good theatre is a haunted one.
Good nothing happened and perhaps that was a good thing. I've heard of that "light as a feather", but never tried it. My parents raised me with the saying...
be careful what you wish for because you might get it.

My sister said after she told it to leave, she didn't see it anymore, but suspected it still came around... just hid better.

As for shadow experiences.
I’ve seen them twice that I remember well, but it when I was awake and both times had another person (different people both times) that saw them, too. I didn’t tell them what I saw, when I saw it, as I didn’t want to influence them into seeing anything. We discussed it later and I had them tell me what they saw first; it matched what I saw.
Here is a condensed one (still long).
One was about mid day, indoors and I watched as it's reflection move through a solid object. I would casually (so as to not alert my friend to the area) around and then to the area itself... no shadow. Then, my friend said said- what the hell is that! Several times, he looked back to the area and then back to the reflection in the tv (off) and pointed at the tv, saying something was coming towards us. I didn't want to lead his thinking, so I played dumb. He shouted- it's right there! We have to get out of here!
Suddenly, his body jerked and he angrily said- jerk! Why'd you hit me! I told him I didn't. Immediately, a visible red mark (handprint of palm & partial fingers; on the other side of his body were “fingertip” marks which lined up with the palm mark on is back) near the location of his heart, but slightly off to the right; it was as if something had reached through him. I then admitted what I'd seen and that I'd been not mentioning the shadow, so as to not convince him to see the same as I did. He kept insisting I'd hit him... he was pissed off! I told I didn't and even if I had, then explain the 5 fingertip marks on the front side of his body. He then realized it wasn't possible for me to have done it. The marks stayed red for over a week and he noted there was discomfort in that area. I’ve heard later that if the marks had been over his heart, he would’ve died right there.

The other shadow experience was at night, but indoors with all the lights on (bright, not dim), not violent.
Over the years after, I've heard many people say these shadows are harmless and some said shadows are cowards. But, I always remember what happened to my friend; I was there when it happened, saw what it did. Maybe it was a shadow and they really can hurt us, but are toying with humans to make us think they cannot? Or maybe it was something posing as one? Or something completely different? Or maybe there's a medical explanation? I don't know.

I have stories to share!
The last house I lived at had some pretty strange things going on all the time! One night my wife, kids, and I, a friend of ours, and her two small children were coming home late. As we all pulled up our driveway (it was a longer gravel driveway, we lived outside of town on 6 acres of land) her son (around 5ish at the time) apparently started waving out his car window. After we all got out of our cars, our friend was kind of freaking out. She ran up the stairs with her kids and quickly went inside. When I got in, I asked her what was wrong and she told me she asked her son what he was waving at and he had told her he was waving at that man outside. It was pitch black out aside from the occasional lightning strike from the storm north of us.
Another night, my wife and I were... Um... "Spending time together" if you will. Out of no where, she screamed, jumped off, and began crying. She apparently felt something grab and pull on her left leg. Scared her to death!
Many of us had seen this entity. It was a tall skinny man wearing a black hat that was something in between a cowboy hat and a bowler hat. He wore blue jeans, a white button up shirt, and a black blazer. Doors and cabinets would open and close, lights would turn on and off, and he would knock on the front door (thats a crazy story too). I saw him, my wife did, her brother and his girlfriend had, another friend of ours stayed with us for awhile sleeping on the couch and she woke up to him standing near her feet (she came into our room and slept the rest of that night), and our kids claimed to have. He seemed seasonal. We would have these encounters during the spring and summer, never during the winter.
Anyway, that's a few of the experiences we had there!

I'm so excited about this thread!
A few years ago, my mom got this cat, named Hairy-it, she was a rather large manecoon. This cat hated me, any time I would visit I would get randomly attacked, or she would stalk me through the house and just watch me. It was really weird. She didn't do this to anyone else, just me.
It became kind of a joke in the family. Over the years she got meaner and meaner, and weirder and weirder. She would try and climb the wall, or even knock things off of shelves on to me. She would crap in my shoes, and even started to attack my dogs.
This cat was totally mental. She wouldn't clean herself, she never meowed, and some times she would just face the wall for hours.
Anyways while visiting over thanksgiving, she got hit by a car, a couple years ago, my dad found her, and picked her up and brought her in, she was crushed, it was graphic and bad. My dad thought he had felt a heart beat still, but wasn't sure, so to be sure she was in zero pain he took her outback and well, he used a gun. It was winter time in Michigan so the ground was frozen, so I wrapped her up nicely, said a few words, placed her in a nice box, in the frozen garage, till morning, so my mom ( who wasn't home) could make a decision on what to do.
This all happened around 8pm, I put the kid to bed at 9, and I myself was asleep by 1030 pm. At around midnight, my son wakes me up calling for me, so I go to where he was sleeping and he tells me Hairy-it wants in, she was at the window. I have a talk with him about it ( he was 6 at the time) he goes to sleep. I chalked it up to a dream and go back to bed.
Now I was preggars with my daughter at the time, so I was no stranger to weird dreams. At about 2 am, I wake up and Hairy-it was sitting on the foot of my bed staring at me. Mangled and all, I screamed ( like a b*#%h) and jumped out of bed and flipped on the light. Nothing there. My dad had heard the scream and came running down stairs with his shot gun. He laughed at me, and gave me crap for being a big sissy...
Now I know even to this day, I had woken up, THEN seen that damn cat.
I didn't sleep the rest of the night.
About 6 am the next morning I'm up having coffee with dad, when he tells me that mom got in at 4am, he broke the news to her, etc ect.
Mom decided later that morning that she wanted the cat to be cremated, so I was going to take her to the vet to have it done. I go out to the garage where I know I left the box with the cat in it and the box is open and that cat is gone.
I open the garage door and there are cat tracks in the snow leading away from the house ( she was the only cat they had) so I followed them. They went around the house to my son's window, to the back door, in through the cat door.
We looked all frigging day! Couldn't find her anywhere. My dad is freaking out, because he made sure she was dead, and there was no way she could be alive. We didn't find her by bed time that night, so when every one went to bed, I couldn't sleep. That cat hated me, now it's a zombie screw that, I'm not falling asleep.
I blocked the cat door, I grabbed my ball bat, and I sat in bed all night awake. At about midnight I hear my dad yell and run through the house. I dash my pregnant butt upstairs as dad runs out the back door. Him and mom had been in bed asleep, when he had been woken up by what felt like a cat jumping on the bed, then mom said hi harry-it baby, and didn't actually wake up. It took him a minute to register what just happened and when it did he yelled and got up, he chased her out the cat door, which wasn't blocked like I left it, and out into the yard.
The next morning I went into the garage, and there was that evil zombie cat in the box where she was put, but not wrapped like I had done 2 nights before. I closed the box and used a whole new roll of duct tape and tapped that sucker shut good. Then I took it to the woods, called a friend he came out and met me, after I told him the story, he helped me dig into the frozen ground and bury the box.
Dad swears to this day, that he sees her out his window sometimes, out in the yard, just sitting and staring at the house.
I went to visit last year, and while parked in the driveway, something sliced one of my car tires. Dad doesn't have cats anymore, the new wife doesn't allow it. I left a pair of muddy boots out in the garage while in for lunch, came out about an hour later, there is cat sh*t in one.
It's weird, and I believe that that cat is an evil zombie cat.
I haven't been back to the burial spot, I really don't want to check it out, but I am curious if the body is still there...
