What is this life about anyway????

Often I've thought this life is about doing something while you're alive that you end up leaving to the world. ie: you create the next iphone, movie, song, art etc etc. Something you leave behind for future generations. And that is an important part of you being here.

But when you really think about it, how could that be important. Within a few decades to perhaps a 100 or 200 years tops you're invention is forgotton, long since become an worn out antique that no one uses anymore.

So it really isn't about that. Is it about us making some kind of moral decisions to become some kind of better person? I don't think it's that either actually. Because even the bible says you can't be good enough. It says "all of your righteousness is as filthy rags". So even at your best, you're not good enough morally. You're still in a moral state of imperfection and the human condition. That being said, aspiring to be an ax murderer is probably a bad idea too.

Even with family legacy's etc. Like most people don't even know who or much at all about their great grandfather/mother. And nothing about their great-great.

So I don't know what does that leave us with? Like although I really hope there's a life to come, I'm a bit more of a realist and I realize that we don't know what there is after this life, if anything. Like I hope there's something more but I don't know what that is, I don't know what I need to be doing now to aspire to that thing etc etc. Like and the fact is that I'm a christian, but I'm an awake one. Which means I'm no longer indoctrinated. I'm a realist. I'm reasonably sure their's some kind of God but really I don't know what that is. Like as a human how on earth am I really suppose to know? All I know is how stupid I am because i'm a mortal who knows jack.

So I just wonder what life is really all about? Like it use to make a hell of a lot more sense. But over the last several years as I feel I've awoken more and more I realized just how much I don't know and how nonsensical everything really is.

The only thing I was kinda thinking that would be probably a pretty good idea is just to try and get out there and see more of the world while I can. Beyond that nothing really seems to matter that much.

But anyway, what do you think life is about? or what should one be considering or thinking about in that department???

Have you ever had a déjà vu mortal?
if you have, then you will understand what I am about to say. A déjà vu is a glitch in time a glitch in time that lets you know that you mortal have been here before.

To make a long story short, you died ,we all died and your god is letting you relive your life ,so you can see why he sent you mortals straight to hell.

Change how. We'll never be "good enough". Can we be better sure. but really at any point for any reason we'll just screw up again in one way or another. We'll never be perfect, as we're only human.

Obviously life is about having people agree with you, that is the only way for yourself to matter. If noone ever agrees with you, then you are an outcast and not remembered, but remembered for being that outcast that noone should be like. Conform, please.

Have you ever gone to a party or gathering and just disagreed with everyone, no matter what? Just argued against everything they said? I have (to a party I knew only 1 person that I despised), and I left after 30 minutes because noone would talk to me. I didn't care, it was a social experiment of mine and that is how I came up with this rather simple equation. Agree with noonone and be shunned.

Do you know what specific time and point in your life that you wish you could go back to..the road in which you strayed off from?

sorry but that's dumb. We wouldn't be talking right now if it wasn't for people that went against the grain. The PC was popularized by mavericks. Most things we take for granted were made by people who did not conform. How can you conform anyway. Once you're awake you can't easily go back to sleep and pretend that the world is the way tptb brainwash us to believing it is.

It is about getting your genes onto the next round. That is it. The rest is noise and nuance.

Well. . . . then we all die, nothing changes and life sucks.

Either way, not much you can do about it.

So I try to be as kind as giving as I can and pass it along to my kids.

Well yes but I'm not gonna go into any details. Why? I didn't stray so much as I was pushed or forced into a new reality. But as a result I'm far more aware of a lot of things.

I think it is a classroom to temper soul or your essence.

I know that without God and an immortal soul it would be a pointless, empty existence. I don't care what you believe, but believe in SOMETHING. People that believe in nothing live an empty, pointless life.

A s&f now let me answer your question:

Life is NOT about you or me at all. Life is NOT about us. Life is about the God of the bible. If you can take your eyes off yourself and keep them on Jesus then through him your life will find meaning and significance.

We are the creations and not the creator. We are nothing at all. We are less than specks in the universe BUT we serve an almighty, loving and powerful God and because of that we are meaningful.

He created us, me and you to serve him and to serve mankind in humbleness and love but we have chosen to listen to the devils lies rather than God's simple truth.

What is life? Nothing! Who are we? Nothing but only in relation and in relationship to God do we receive everlasting life and become significent.

Satans sin is pride and he would have all of mankind believe they are something without God but the truth is its not about us at all and never has been... Sure we are part of the story and some chose good others evil but that's just because in our small world we can make small choices but they are insignificant in the size of the universe.

If you want meaning and purpose and fulfillment and hope and love then start believing God and reject the devil.

Its all in the bible and all true. I really believe this. I am nothing but I CAN live by serving and worshiping God and loving my fellow man because of him and one day if my salvation experience was real and I don't give up my good relationship with my God and I listen to his voice (he NEVER tells anyone to blow up stuff ) then I might receive eternal life as my reward.

The God who tells people to blow up stuff is the devil. The true God is kind and faithful and patient and caring and nurturing and is quick to forgive.

just out of curiosity, why do you think the bible is so reliable? I'm a christian too don't get me wrong. But how do we know really what God is all about? I think it's designed that we're not suppose to know at all. Because we seriously lack any real tangable data, yet we're suppose to go by faith. Like I don't want to rain on anyones parade either. But I'm just thinking that I don't have a lot of blind faith anymore. I think we're more like just in a clockwork situation.

The only significant thing I can tell you is the bible is not a scientific formula book or a diy book or a geography book or a Terry Pratchett novel BUT what it is and what it does it does well. The bible is a SPIRITUAL book and what it does is convict the reader that there is no way that we as humans can possibly attain Gods standards and then it points us to somebody who can help us and that is Jesus. Once you have turned to Jesus for your strength and you forsake your own strength then the bible has done its job and this is where it goes up a level because now Jesus becomes your bible and his voice speaks to us.

You were not really meant to understand the bible just as you don't understand all of the scientific therories or physics theries if you did you'd be a genius but what you are supposed to get is that God has made a way for us to be close to him and that's through Jesus.

If you've truly given your heart to Jesus and accepted the gift of his holy spirit shed abroud for the salvation of mankind then why not ask him these questions?

I do understand the need to have the answers from man too and so I relate to you. Jesus has spoken to me everyday since I was saved and rescued me from countless dangers and that's how I know without the shadow of a doubt that he exists and is real in a realm just past our own. I will pray for you.

I find my value and worth in that the God of the universe made me and wants to have a father son relationship with me. I love it. I'm also actually on a mission to expose the devils lies and help many find this simple truth but its hard as the devil has been around a lot longer than me and has many strongholds in this world but I'm doing what I can.
