Couldn't agree more.
You did leave out promises of anti-gun legislation to cheer the hearts of the soccer moms in the Northeast Corridor and the West Coast.

But the "Let's say 50K per man, woman and child. Of course this is spread out over ten years so as to not overburden the rest of us""? I mean........is that really enough? And is it really reparations if it doesn't mean direct pain to US whites of all classes? Seems to me they'd want something more punitive to the evil racist white people, that's what I want to see! Make 'em hurt.......take something of real value like a one time $1,500 tax for each white person and then a 10% wealth tax on their properties and 401K's, or stock market wealth, and savings.

Hell no. I have been...was an owner operator for decades. The teamsters had their niche and O/O's had theirs. Mostly freight haulers who had a high profit margins could afford Unions.

The rest, generally, were non-union.

Ironically, most of our problems didn't lie with union operations, it was with the big non-union carriers via the ATA that was the O/O's adversary. Earlier, it was also the railroads that were the 'competition', as well.

Now the big carriers and railroad outfits have consolidated and are symbionts...

Hmm, I can't fully buy into that one. the ATC guys broke federal law under the guise of safety issues. (Obviously, going on strike worsened those safety issues.) I don't see where that one did any more than saying you've broken the law by striking and really had no effect of Unions, in general. Let's not forget Reagan was the president of the Screen Actors Guild....

On borders...if you are sincere about Unity?...REFORM...We don't need a wall, we need to reform the broken immigration system...crack down on illegal immigration while simultaneously making it possible for migrant farm workers to come here and work. Obama has done his part on crack-down, having deported more illegals than any President in history...while simultaneously offering a path to kids that grew up here through no fault of their own, but don't have legal citizenship. It's a fair compromise...Fix the immigration system and then crack down all you like.

To date..The GOP in DC has been scared to death and full on (hell no) on immigration reform for fear of pissing off the Xenophobic arm of their base.

That's another one I have a problem with. We don't need immigration reform! We have one million legal immigrants per year that get processed and enter the U.S.. (They want to increase that to two million per year). So where is it broken??

Enforcement...not 'reform'...

You are all still blind to it. I mean, do you realize that Hillary last night was watching Trump before her speech and actually incorporated some of his tag lines in hers? Pathetic...

Turnout? Primaries are a good indication of a candidate. Both parties pulled in about 27 million voters. The issue you will have is that of that 27 in the GOP many have already jumped. In the DNC, you still have the split right now 50/50.

The scary part. Bernie voters will not turn out for Hillary. That takes away half of the DNC vote. Trump? Many other candidates supporters have jumped including a lot of Cruz people. Watch interviews. People will say I started Huck, went to Cruz and now voting Trump. Bernies supporters are threatening media people...and warnings have been issued. Where is the hate?

In order for one farm worker from Mexico to come here legally...it takes 8 months of paperwork, 6 different agencies, different applications each dependent on the last and hundreds of dollars that the farmer has to pay up front before he even knows if the worker will get approved.

The only farms that actually use "some" legal workers are the huge industrial owned farms where they have a large corporation that can press through the paperwork and fees and even those farmers at the ground level employ illegals.

It is a complete mess.

I'd rebut, I ignored Hillary's issues rather than blind to them. No one really cares what a 'sugar daddy' looks like as long as the sugar keeps flowing...or in this case, increases dramatically. Short comings will be ignored. (still, I hope you are right...)

And wouldn't you expect her to push thru single payer medicare type medical care system?

Oh, and on CNBC, which is the only news channel I can stand, (other than the weather channel), they're discussing how Hilary wants to punish the big Pharma companies. (which would make it likely the big Pharma companies would drastically scale back research).

So...a farmer wants to import a laborer from Mexico Legally? Here are the steps

Petitioner submits temporary labor certification application to the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).

Before requesting H-2A classification from USCIS, the petitioner must apply for and receive a temporary labor certification for H-2A workers from DOL.

Prior to filing a petition with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
1.A job offer (ETA Form 790) must be filed with the State Workforce Agency (SWA) in the area of intended employment between 60 and 75 days before the date of need for workers.

2.An application package including the ETA Form 9142A and accepted Job Order (ETA Form 790) from the SWA and attachments along with any other supporting documentation must be filed with the Chicago NPC no less than 45 days prior to the employer's date of need.

Petitioner submits Form I-129 to USCIS.

After receiving a temporary labor certification for H-2A employment from DOL, the petitioner must file Form I-129 with USCIS.

With limited exceptions, the petitioner must submit original temporary labor certification as initial evidence with Form I-129.

(See the instructions to Form I-129 for additional filing requirements.)

After USCIS approves Form I-129, prospective H-2A workers who are outside the United States must:◦

Apply for an H-2A visa with the U.S. Department of State (DOS) at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate abroad

and then seek admission to the United States with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at a U.S. port of entry;
or
◦Directly seek admission to the United States in H-2A classification with CBP at a U.S. port of entry, if a worker does not require a visa in cases where an H-2A visa is not required.

www.foreignlaborcert.doleta.gov...
www.uscis.gov...

What that translates to is a tonnage of paperwork and bureaucracy that takes 6 to 8 months and costs a couple hundred dollars if everything goes perfectly...and it rarely does.

But if it does Congratulations...you have 1 farm worker! now do it 30 more times so you can harvest your crops.

Hilary need not do much to get a landslide win come November. Trump is like Romney x 1,000 in his ability to alienate and repulse potential moderate voters. poor guy is going to get run over unless he wakes up and massively restructures his campaign strategies going forward, especially on social issues.

Maybe he will, but it would take a level of self control his mouth doesn't seem to be able to handle.

Hilary's figured out that Big Pharma is outa control on pricing and that's one of the big medical care price inflators.

Interesting. Limbaugh, who supported Cruz over Trump has the opposite take on Trump. He said that based on his personal experiences, many will suggest he become 'more Presidential', mellower, so on, and to do so would be a mistake on his part. Stay the course.

I agree. Trump should not change course on what got him to this point. You may be right....but I see this so-called alienation of minorities promoted and exaggerated by the MSM.

The disaffection with both political parties 'could' do the trick. We shall see.

BTW, something else we forgot............$1.00 a gallon gas tax and shut down of all coal fired power plants to save us from global warming. Of course, if she's serious about that she should go after the airlines and force them to price their carbon footprint into ticket costs.

Both the gas taxes and the Airline Ticket taxes have been massively diverted to pay for unrelated stuff. The TSA BS going on? Strangely I heard an interview with the TSA head who explained they actually don't need more money, they need congress to stop "taking" that TSA fee we all pay and spending it on other stuff!

We don't need to jack up gas tax or airline ticket taxes...we need to straighten out the books and stop the "misappropriation"...fancy word for stealing to pay for other stuff.

Just offering a middle road here...
