How is your weather today? I love going to Canada, Toronto or Vancouver. Windsor is fun too.

Not too bad. 20c and partly cloudy. I live in the prairies though, so it could change fast.

Kinda central Sask. I have lived near the Alaska border though. About 90km from Dawson Creek which is mile 0 of the Alaska Highway.

It must be beautiful there. Are you in a big city? For some reason Canada has the best Chineese food!

Less than 300k people. Northern BC was awesome. Lived in a town with maybe 4k people. Isolated and surrounded by mountains. Most beautiful place I have ever lived. It was called Tumbler Ridge.

I believe, don't quote me on this, that it comes from the native word "Kanata" or something like that.

From wiki: The name Canada is now generally accepted as originating from the St. Lawrence Iroquoian word kanata or canada, meaning "village" or "settlement"

Hello Sheddites!

Kaelci what an awesome dragon pic!!!!!!! As for writing...to me, if it sounds great then to hell with rules and regulations and all that proper crap. Some may disagree. Think about it though, who is buying and reading books? It's the people who want to read a great story. If it captures my attention and more importantly, keeps my attention...if it sounds great, to me it IS great.

Gordi, wow, great entry! I am at the edge of my seat in anticipation over what will happen next!!!!!!

Buzzywigs, I hope you are able to reach jacy. Nice seeing you here! Hope you come back and join in our chit chat and story telling!

Hello Bird!!!!

Q, that sounds like a nasty burn you have! When I had radiation and my skin felt like a bad sunburn, salt water and aloe helped and cream to keep it moisturized.

Happy Birthday CC! I hope you're having a great day! Cute pic you posted! Dinner at your Daughter's and the necklace sound awesome! What a lovely night you had!

Hello Syx! LOVE that animated flying dragon!!!!!!

AB, WOW what a story entry!!!!!!!!! Loved it!

Hi Martin! Cute Birthday pic for CC! Hope Paul feels better soon!

Hi Autorico/Data!

Good idea! Hope it continues to improve. I like creams better than ointments, oils and lotions. Nice thick cream, especially with herbs in them that your skin drinks up and doesn't feel greasy.

I'm going to quickly skim over new threads and take a nice bath in a while.

The anticipation!

(I was just wondering how a sword would fare against a jelly! Would the jelly be hewn in two? Or would it split into a million little angry jellies?)

Happy birthday CC!!!

I hope that you have a wonderful day, and it's 7am at the moment for me, but I'll have a drink for you later-later-LATER! lol

Hi Miss Elfie! Thank you
that's how I tend to think as well, but because I don't want to self-publish, I need everything to be as "perfect" as possible. Or I could just flip my desk and yell "To hell with publishers!!" And do things MY way, ahahhaha. But, I don't think I could do it.

a reply to: everyone!!!!
Good morning

I'm surprisingly awake and not dead-tired after falling asleep past midnight and waking up at 6am. So. Hopefully this continues! LOL. The night time hours are so peaceful, need more of them and need to get into a new routine.

I'll be here on and off today like a good little Sheddite
but I hope everyone has a lovely day/afternoon/night, and I will pop in unexpectedly from the shadows when you least expect it!

I just read a nice little quote... "Don't let yesterday take up too much of today." .... wise words!
