I'm not coming back here for a while regardless of replies(sorry to everyone if that is rude), but that was an incredibly painful moment when I saw her. So much came back to me. Hugs. I missed you.

I was catching up in the DDOS thread and saw SO say the mitigation cost for the attacks is up to about $1400/month.

So, wouldn't most of us agree we are at the membership fee bridge?

55% of the user base that is active paying $5/month. That's less than the kiddos netflix.

Sorry to start so early but I just can't believe the site owners haven't suggested this!

OK, Let's do some crazy math.

Let's just use the posters who have over 1000 post (Although we know that we have A LOT of posters under 1000 that are active)

OK 3539 people with over 1000, let's say only 50% are still here. That gives us 1769 posters. If you charge $5 (I agree totally reasonable) then you get $8847 a month!!!!!
