No, separate restrooms for transgender people IS discrimination. They either go to the men's room or they go to the women's room.

It's merely an act of protecting our children from possible traumatic experience.

Like I've said before, I don't give a rat about TG people, or any other kind of special people. I just refuse to be forced to accept things that are unacceptable. And somehow if you refuse to accept it, it's called discrimination.

Here's the thing. The brain is a fascinating organ, and still a mystery as to how it all works. We know that sometimes the wiring can get messed up. That's a fact. Logic.

Some people have brains where the wiring connected to gender identity doesn't match the physical body. Those brains work just fine in every other way. People with gender dysphoria are perfectly capable of holding down jobs, raising children and living normal lives in every other way. A person who tries to live like a dog, however, is unable to function properly in a human society. So your analogy is a logic fail.

There is no drug that will solve gender dysphoria. You can't talk it away with therapy. You can't medicate it away. You can't pray it away. All those things have been tried and failed. This is different than something like schizophrenia.

Children will only be traumatized if you teach them to be traumatized.

The laws are changing to protect the transgender population. If it has to go all the way to the Supreme Court, trust me, it will go the same way marriage equality went. Y'all better just get used to it.

I love the OP’s rational tone. His or hers inquisitive questioning rather than dogma of belief.

This is a Solomonic problem that won’t be easily solved one way or the other.


This is an issue of a degree of complexity that defines the conundrums of life

Let's try to add a little perspective. This issue is a lot more complicated and nuanced than people are giving it credit for.

If you were the parent of a transgender child, how would you want them to be treated and where would you expect them to pee? Does anybody even care this issue got started and at the core is about transgender kids in school?

Here's a couple of those monstrosities. The first one is a 15 year old high school girl and the other a 13 year old 8th grader. Both seem a lot smarter and more mature than some of the people posting here.

Think of the children! (Sorry, couldn't help but turn that around)
