engaging in violence and illegal acts to try to silence him?
I would posit that you would know about violence and illegal acts, soldier, since you participated in an illegal war...
So did I, and many others, that served out of honor, to let people like you say things like this.
Keep telling yourself that, you may convince yourself it's true, but it's not, and it's not honourable either...

Perhaps you did not understand the question.
One of the issues he tries to use "statistics" to debunk is 'rape culture'. .

I agree. That does not mean the comparison by Milo is applicable, and that does not mean we cannot address the issue within our own society before it reaches the level in the Congo.

This line of thinking requires a level of nuance many people, supporters of Milo in this case, are incapable of. Either rape levels need to be at the levels of war torn countries or it's not an issue all together. There are no shades of grey, only black and white.

LOOKING AT PEOPLE IS NOT RAPE.
I'm an "old man" at a university, attending after retiring from the military.
It is very much human nature for a man to steal glances at a woman, especially when they are running around in yoga pants, leggings, or even "boy shorts" on campus. That being said I feel a little like Clint Eastwood in his older years when I tell younger guys to have "some decency" when they are staring a little too hard at the female population at school.
It's one thing to be admired, it's another thing all together to be made to feel uncomfortable.
As a conservative Republican - Eye Rape probably is a real thing and is far more widespread than discussed. I have no doubt that left unchecked it leads to further feelings of disassociation in some individuals and in a few cases can lead to those individuals acting on their impulses. A "gateway" fetish if that makes any kind of sense.
