That seems big,

I know, why you don't get next to it for perspective... LOL clearly these guys never saw happy Gilmore

time mark dint work, go to1 min mark

That guy must have been eating a lot of puppies... or the golf people is feeding him (why would you need pigs when you have a gator
), as it seems its a sort of a pet in the golf curse

"People have heard that he is out here and that is all they want to see so they will bring spectators to ride so somebody can get a picture," pro shop clerk Wendy Schofield told News 3. "He doesn't bother anybody and they don't bother him, he's like a mascot for the course, which is owned by Manatee County."

"He has been here for a very, very long time, he's not new at all. There have been guesses that he's 15 to 16 feet long," the five-year employee said. "The word has spread that this is a great place to come and play. He is the highlight, but we are worth the price too."

news3lv.com...

I would not want to seek a missing ball in that place, nope

It will be all fun and games until some jackass lets their 3 year old get close which will then require someone to shoot the thing.

I saw a still from that clip the other day. It's even creepier to watch it amble around that sand trap. (Shudders)

That quote above "he is the highlight..." Uh, NOPE!!!

why would someone shoot a 3 year old

But yeah having a wild animal on the lose is reckless, someday someone will want their ball back from the lake, it must be 2 guys in a suit as the man in the video says

Not to be a negative Nancy, but it is probably dead already.

They relocate or kill them down here if they are over 5 or 6 ft I believe.

Fish and game was probably alerted by this video.

I get the feeling everyone in the area already knows about it from the article.

Hey, but thanks for the informative response..that was worth reading.

Looks like they can't come onto private property to take nuissance gators without permission.
Otherwise it would be initiated by calls from concerned citizens.
Which was my point.

It was hard coming up with something to top your highly informative post but I had to try. I suppose you missed the part in that rather short article where they said:

"He has been here for a very, very long time, he's not new at all."

Whining people killing a ba gator is a big problem.

News brings out the scared complainers. Gator dies.

..that was my only point.

You need to stop taking it so personal. You didn't even read before you shot off at the mouth.

This news made it all the way to The Netherlands. But we are small America now. Also this week in our news: police shot and killed an unarmed man

I'm waiting for the giant alligator vs nile crocodile battle at the golf course video, of course it may get interrupted by a naked homeless canibal/zombie trying to eat one of the lizards as its Florida after all

But such a large fella is a success tale, better than suicide bomber and such so its all ok

Sadly Augustus made me think in The Most Dangerous Game and i'm trying to get a good reply on why a toddler is not good game but nothing i can think is tasteful and classy...

Indeed, but that's still one hell of a Florida speed bump. Relocate his ass to the 'Glades and watch the epic Gator/Python battle commence.

Man I was excited about this topic.

I can see how excited you were, so much so that you did not read the tiny little article, which took me only a minute to get through, where they made it clear that this thing has been there for years and people come to watch it, so no, there is no Fish and Game haul away happening.

The rest of your post made me laugh very hard because you obviously still have not gotten the current events satire in my initial post. Thank you for entertaining me.
