After being left on a cliffhanger for over two decades Twin Peaks will be coming back to our screens next year.
All filming is apparently done and the full cast list has been released. A lot of the original cast will be coming back, other Lynch regulars such as Naomi Watts and Laura Dern, also pleasant surprises like Trent Reznor and Robin Finck from Nine Inch Nails, and Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam.
What with other big name talent on the cast list, this should make for very interesting viewing.

Proper looking forward to this!

www.amazon.com...=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1464638935&sr=1-1&keywords=the+secret+history+of+twin+pea ks

looking forward to

(I am not affiliated wi Amazon, Twin Peaks, Showtime, etc etc, in any way)

several performers of course are no longer with us (Jack Nance, Warren Frost) but I look forward to seeing the rest.

*Edit: Warren Frost is still alive, but he's ninety and probly won't be in the show*

would be hilarious if Sherilynn Fenn plays Audrey as a ghost.

Been looking forward to this for 25 years.

Good to see so many original cast members and very sad to see some have not returned, especially Harry.

Having just watched the X-Files revival, I'd have to say that my expectations are...somewhat dampened.

But if Reznor and Vedder are involved somehow, I'll be watching.

We're talking David Lynch, who never disappoints.

I'm just glad Lynch jumped back on board the project, after walking away.

And the amount of talent in this is staggering and impressive.

It's a shame David Bowie won't be around for his role...but adding Trent and others is awesome.

This is going to be very weird and very interesting.

Can't wait!

After escaping the Black Lodge Agent Cooper is possessed by Bob. He smashes his face into a mirror and mocks Harry "Where's Annie? Where's Annie!?" like an absolute mentalist.

It's one of the, if not the best season finales in TV history.

I thought I'd point out that Agent Cooper in that moment is sayings "How's Annie?"

Fire walk with me was a prequel, you must (oddly) not have understood that whilst watching it. Lol.

I stand corrected.

Oh yes. I agree. But as you described...it WAS the finale. So perhaps cliffhanger is the wrong usage of the term. Maybe, the continuing saga as the show ended...

Thanks....can't wait to pick up!

:/
Isn't that what a cliffhanger is by definition?

It was the season finale, which always end on cliffhangers.
It's common knowledge that it wasn't meant to end there and there was supposed to be a third season, it just didn't happen for whatever reason (issues between Lynch and the network probably), until now.

I did not know that. I was under the impression it was gone, and not coming back when it ended.

Thanks! Eagarly waiting for it's return!
