Ok so I may have found the person who created this youtube channel. Not 100% but the coincidences are to strong to ignore.

An author named Christopher Bloodworth who writes creepypastas posted a story on his tumblr page "creepy stuf i just made up". The title of the story is "Hey, Kid!"

Hey, Kid!

The story is about a robot companion for kids who kills its creator. Now the part that has me convinced the two are at least connected.....this story was posted March 7, 2014. The same day our creepy youtube channel was created!

Im gonna jump back down this rabbit hole and check some other angles. This story just keeps getting weirder.

Oh and i came across an odd series of numbers during my research that I have no context for, I'll post shortly if we have any cryptographers here.

Interesting that song has not been taken down for copyright infringement.

I thought Youtube has algorithms to detect copyright infringing material.

This has been up for 2 months now.

Good point. Possibly very telling if it's being "allowed."

No i haven't. If you would like to be my guest. Right now im working some different angles, see if I cant tie some of this s%#@ together. But thanks for the OP, sparked an old desire to solve a mystery that I hadn't even noticed was gone.

Here are the numbers i stumbled across in a pastebin directory. The only context i can give is it was one link that popped up on my first key word search on google and that the only items in this directory were these numbers.

37 36 63 68 61 6e 2e 6f 72 67

If you contact bloodworth and he responds let me know but if he is the channels creator i have my doubts he will fess up to it.

ETA: How dumb i diddnt realise its hexidecimal code for another chan site. Nvm

My kid has watched a bunch of finger family videos on youtube. I am sincerely hoping none of them were from this creepy a** channel. I always screen what he's watching, and remember thinking the daddy finger stuff was odd, but seemed harmless. I'm a bit spooked. Is there a way to block a specific channel on youtube? I do not want this popping up in recommended videos...

ETA; Nvm. Figured it out.

To block someone:
Sign in to your YouTube account.
Go to the channel page of the user you want to block. It should have a URL like www.youtube.com/user/NAME or www.youtube.com/channel/NAME.
Click the About tab, then click the flag icon .
Click Block user.

I've already reported one video, and I'll be happy to add to any broader effort. I'd love to see whomever, or whatever, is behind that channel taken down immediately.

Here's a YouTube vid talking about the channel in question here:

Haven't watched it yet, doing some digging around.

This is too wild, the guy is saying it is an AI in possession of an actual human, strange!

Watched your video and the guy points out that the phrase at the start of each video seems to have some relevence.

"O.K kids,Get your running shoes"

He thinks it ties into this video

.

He also mentions that "running shoes" May be code for something . There is so little info about this but the more I look into it the more I think my original deductions were incorrect. I think this might just be a failed/ too vague to actually be relevant ARG or creepypasta.

But I don't know. Its too strange. Ever get a hold of Bloodworth?

If this is the answer i dont think its failed /vague

i would describe it as a brilliant piece of interactive art.

Whats the point in creepy pasta anyway?

I would say to scare people .

It has certainly done that.

The reason I say failed is because if it is an ARG then it never garnered any real traction. I haven't seen it on any ARG boards, talked to some friends that habitually participate in ARGs (even created them) and he has never come across this one at all. In fact the YouTube channel itself was completely new to him. So if it is an ARG it definitely flopped. But hey, maybe this discussion will revitalize it and set it off. But if Reddit couldn't get it to take off I doubt ATS will. But I see your point on the creepypasta, it is definitely creepy.

Hey guys, ok so after some more digging I belive that the link between Hey Kids and the girlgames website is a misunderstanding of a post made on 8chan. I believe the original post was intended to refrence a Japanese anime song that translates as "HEY KIDS" by a band called The Oral Cigarettes.

I contacted Bloodworth as well but got no response, if I can find more links between the two I'll turn up the pressure. Dont think his fans will appreciate him targeting kids with this creepy s&%$.

Havent completely ruled out the ai angle, found out some interesting things out about deepmind. I reached out to someone from Google for more info but dont know if I'll get it. Let me know if you turn up anything.

The narrator on that video sounds robotic to me. Maybe the Hey Kids creator is behind that as well as it will get more people to watch the videos. Just a thought

The most interesting thing about this is that I was just reading about these videos today on reddit as well. A well known internet name Cr1tikal even posted a video on it.

www.youtube.com...

Very strange timing.

He is trying to do some "adult swim" type of thing. I think he is just goofing off and trolling at the same time.

Love Crit1kl,brilliant youtuber.

The video is a light harted look at the finger family mystery.

He doesn't mention Hey kids channel.I messaged him about it maybe he will do a vid.

He makes some interesting observations about the finger family mystery namely how elusive any trace of the origins of the song are.

The finger family song just seemed to pop up out nowhere and nested its self in between common everyday nursery rhymes.

As critical says

"What better way to # up an entire species than to start with youngest generation and # up there minds"

Greetings from Ireland.
This is my first ATS post.
A look at the more recent Hey Kids youtube videos reveals that they're getting even more bizarre.
Recent topics have included 10 alien races on Earth (Annunaki, Nommo etc), How to make a homunculus (a magician's semen is needed apparently), Jesus as a alien hybrid, and how on the dark web one can find recipes for cooking girls and sources for crystal meth. I kid you not.
Thanks for reading.
