The ones that know about it would agree with me. I don't fear their attention at all.
Please, shut up. Before you regret attracting the attention of our members who actually have autism, or family with it.
2. On WHAT evidence are you asserting that Ms. Gifford is faking speech difficulties?

This thread is a hoax, a lie, unless you can show a recent video of her speaking correctly.
I am trying as best I can to find a video of her slipping up, a little bit of a pain on this phone.
So far, either she is an incredible actress and extremely consistent in her method or people are making crap up about a woman who survived serious trauma and is out speaking in public despite all odds.
I don't agree with her politics or choice of... associates. But other than that, I'm seeing a strong woman not letting her disability prevent her from living the life she wants. Loughner doesn't get to steal that from her and she seems intent to prove it.
Or maybe I'm completely naive and she deserves an oscar.
Did you see her head and that rehab video in the hospital? She has gun control all wrong but that's one tough chick.

Ok, you might actually have me on this one.
I don't think she is faking, I just think she is using her disability to gather support.
AKA using her disability when she wants it to be relevant.
You know what they say about those who assume.

It's the only reason I raised the thought about autism.
Autistic people do indeed use their disability to their advantage, and in this case the brain injury is similar.

It's one of the reasons they do.
They aren't dumb people, they grasp everything we do, just either at a slower pace or in a different sense.
They also know most of society will shrug off anything they do because they are handicapped.
Autistic education is very interesting.

I wouldn't assume if you would just answer my question. YOU are the reason I ASSume.

Xue, you really stepped in it this time, and have apparently gone to wipe your shoes off. No flag for you.

Where did I say I thought this was true?
I questioned the whole thing.
The strangest part is how some people are interpreting.
