Two Mexican-American's burn the Mexican Flag

Well, welcome to my incredibly divisive thread. Apparently these guys are Mexican and are from Costa Mesa (a place I've lived) and it is predominately latino(a), and its right next to Santa Aana. Thats really besides the point.



In the video you'll see them claim their heritage and say that there is only one country in America and that their parents came here to be part of this country and work hard here in America. Which is totally fine with me I get it. They also voice that they are disgusted with the atitude of modern migrants who are American haters.

I know this won't fit into the PC agenda and I'm probably hurting some feelings here but for perspective, I figured I'd share what apparently other Mexicans are thinking about whats going on.

Protected free speech.

While I do not realty like flag burning personally I will defend someone's rights to do so. Unlike many European countries which make it illegal to do this I feel that your freedom of expression should not be compromised.

I mostly agree with them. I think what makes America unique is our ability to assimilate other peoples and cultures.

Personally, I'm not a fan of flag burning but I support someone's right do it.

Meh, IMHO nationalism and patriotism are used to control the masses and silence criticism of the State.

Yeah i feel that way too but as long as the majority of people are buying into that paradigm we have to kind of work with it until more people come around.

It is annoying to see any flagged burned. However, it is legal. I am not sure why they were burning the Mexican flag.
If it is because they are upset to see the American flag burned, 2 wrongs don't make a right.

What? I thought you agreed with AM that flag burning was freedom of expression, but you want to "let the lions out" for people expressing themselves in a way you disagree?

You can't just pick and choose who gets to freely express themselves and who does not.

Flag burning is an American right, god bless rights, well rights we still have left. Btw, speaking of rights, Trump fully supports our Big Brother system which effectively takes away our rights and privacy.

I know it isn't PC but speaking of burning things, here are Mexican's burning effigies of Trump all across Mexico.

Sorry if I have a problem with illegal immigrants protesting our political events waving foreign flags and chanting the the name of their home country.
